tom richardson you realize how many millions they went into debt just to record hysteria album. if it wouldn't have been for their amazing talent making amazing music any other band would've ended being to far in debt.
Richard McCleave or they would have been capable of doing it quicker and cheaper if they were any good. And Mutt Lange made their sound, not them. They were just thick northern rockers with not much finesse

I'm 40 yr old and have been a big fan of this band since I was 15..They are great musicians and are awesome live..I saw them recently back in november and didn't want the night to end..I see them as a band that will never die as they just keep surprising us and bringing out great tunes along with a brilliant album..
I was 14 and about to start high school when the album 'Hysteria' came out in 1987, and although my oldest brother (11 years older) had the earlier ones, I don't recall him buying this one - maybe he did later on. No matter, since there were plenty at school that did and I subsequently bought the cassette for myself (and then the CD in 1990). My next older brother, 2 1/2 years older (I'm the youngest of 4 kids), who was 2 grades ahead of me, helped a bit during the awkward transition from elementary school to that first year of high school. I got involved with a couple of the sports teams as a manager type thing since playing sports was never my thing. A couple of his friends were managers too and one of them had a larger expensive JVC boombox that had a sliding tray for mounting/connecting the optional matching portable CD player, which he had as well. This was one of the CDs he had and we played it a lot. A few others were U2's 'The Joshua Tree', The Cult's 'Love' and 'Electric'. As mentioned, I already knew of Def Leppard but it was this album that really made me more interested in them and has made them one of my top 5 favorite bands (along with The Cult). So many years ago and so many memories - some good, some bad. I have my share of times when I wish that I could just go back and enjoy those good ones again, and try to change the bad ones, but we know that's not going to happen as much as we might want it. That's probably for the best anyway. To think what could have been and how my life would be different today (better?) is sometimes difficult to get out of my head. I guess I need more counseling/therapy (partially a joke).
I love ❤️ def lepperd I’m huge fan of them I whent to see them in concert last year in August 22 2018 It was def lepperd and journey. It was def lepperd was awesome I stayed for rocket and animal. It got overwhelming for me but I had fun and it was loud we seat in the 4 th row seat under the speakers 🔊 it was loud and awesome 😎 but I had fun.
My birthday 🎂 is coming up in one month my birthday will be coming this month my birthday is on February 8. 2020 on a Saturday I’ll be 23 years old next month I hope 🤞 you have a great 👍 day god bless you

Steve and Phil were very close (not like that!) and Steve would pretty much do anything for a laugh. There's a lot of things you hear that they got up to (the Steve and Phil naked photoshoot springs to mind!)
