If that is case, then antenna,headdresses, poles, staffs and swords should not be included in total heights, as they are no more anthropomorphic than pedestals.

А где статуя Родина Мать из Волгограда(сразу не заметил), и почему так посчитан размер? В видео вышедшем ранее было правильней, сейчас очевидно что могут быть ошибки и с остальными статуями, так что качество видео недоставерно. Очевидно ставят по попсе и предпочтениям(Что ещё хуже, скорее это от безграмотности сделано), тогда бы видео примерно минут 30 шло.

Good point. Governments love these vanity projects, especially when they have an agenda to push (ie, some of these statues glorify Indian Hindu nationalism). They will argue that it will create short term jobs in construction and long term jobs via tourism, but they fail to mention that improving the standard of life for the poor gives a much more meaningful economic benefit. When you lift the poor out of poverty, every won in the nation wins.
Just what i thought. Building huge Statues of people who fought for the poor with so much money they could easily build schools and hospitals and whatever with. It's madness.
