Narrated Abu Huraira:
My friend (the Prophet ﷺ) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping.
📚Sahih al-Bukhari 1178

𝟐. Donate a wheelchair to a hospital, every time someone sick sits in it you gain
𝟑. Participate in building a masjid
𝟒. Place a watercooler in a public space
𝟓. Plant a tree, every time a human or animal sits in its shade you gain
𝟔. And the easiest, share this message with others. whenever someone reads it, you gain. May Allah help everyone

*3 important advice of our Prophet(ﷺ)*
Narrated Abu Huraira:

Sahih al-Bukhari (1178)
Three days are 13,14, and 15th days of Lunar calendar.
The time for Duha prayer is from when the sun has risen to the height of a spear, which is fifteen or twenty minutes after sunrise, until just before the sun passes its zenith (and the zenith is when the time for Zuhr prayer begins). What is meant by just before the sun passes its zenith is ten to fifteen minutes before it reaches the zenith, i.e. before the time when it is forbidden to pray begins.

I work at my dads haram store it include Alcohol and Tobacco. I’m very aware it haraam and my dad too but my dad seems like he’s not awake as I am. The girls go in there wearing shorts and showing skin daily, it’s a corner store grocery store in the Bad neighborhood. I am only working here to help him because he provides for us with this store but I regret it everyday I feel my immam decreasing I pray before and after work
I tell him everyday we need to open a business but it seems like I’m the only one who is thinking to change our lives for Allah. I don’t want my paycheck to be haraam and my donations to be for nothing 😢 I know I sinned before and my heart is how he described but I never hurt anyone nor do I want to and I always make positive energy happen but I’m always going to feel like I’m not doing enough 😢
Your father is pulling you to hell. Protect yourself and your father. Tell him that if you try to earn your income from halal All will give you more income... Trust Allah ... Allah is patient with sinners but if He decides to punish him he will suffer so much...

Is receiving government benefits haram?
If you get government benefits then it means that you are at the poverty level & cant sustain yourself to meet the basic needs. Thats why they kick people out if they are above fhe poverty line.. since government benefits is looked upon as charity from the state.
You are being fed, taken care of through the taxes (givings) of other individuals because you NEED it.
I think it would be a different case if you didnt need it and got the benefits in a way thats cheating the system.
Some people lie about how much they earn or dont include their whole household in order to be given benefits.. that would likely be haram..
Vs the person who genuinely cannot take care of themselves or their family and has nobody else to help them.
If those taxes are taken out to feed / assist others, i feel like that should count as charity
