Note to anyone who wants to get into this and appreciate the TW series:
Play Rome: Total War and Medieval 2: Total War.
Then get Warhammer 1 and 2
Then install the Mortal Empires free DLC
wrong. simply incorrect. Shogun2 then some more with a side of extra Shogun2
Correction:
Step 1: play Rome TE or Medieval 2 TW (just pick one of these and dont bother for other one).
Step 2: If you liked the gameplay, play Empire or Napolion TW so you can try some modern era staff.
Step 3: If you didnt like gunpowder era then get shogun 2 VANILA with all DLCs. If you liked gunpowder era then get Fall of the samurai.
Step 4 : If you like shogun get ready for some MASSIVE changes (because if you dont like them then stop on Shogun 2) go play Rome 2 so you can get feeling for mechanics of army/campaign menagment of newer TW games.
Step 5 (ok this is last one): If you could play Rome 2 then GO BUY EVERY TW WARHAMMER GAME WITH ALL LORD PACKS DLCS!

I have a basic yet working strategy as the lizardman, have a few heavy weights such as few dinos or kroxigors, now put them into the front and have them charge into the enemy formation with the kroxs/dinos in the middle of hte enemy formation while the regular infantry attack from teh sides
