LOL. Yes, I guess in a way that is an "approved" bathroom door because it's behind another door and off to the side :-P. I'm happy to see I'm not the only person who does what we do and uses their phone for most of the recording. It's just so easy! That looks like a great accommodation. If I had money, I would absolutely be booking suites. I don't give a fig about the balcony, but I love the nice big bathrooms. LOL, 33°C might _feel_ like 102°C to us Canadians, but it's really only 92°F
Here in Dallas Texas, we have had 102- 107 degrees F. all summer long, feel like temps have 110 to 115. 92 degrees here would be a cold front.😊
This is an amazing video and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's another time of the year. One need to set goals and take bold steps in achieving them. Remember success are not obtained overnight. It comes in installment; you get a little bit today and a little bit tomorrow until the whole package is given out. The day you procrastinate you lose that day of success.
Well, from my own point of view, you need to invest smartly if you need the good things of life. So far I've made over $325k since September last year in raw profits from just q4 of the market from my diversified portfolio strategy and i believe anyone can do it if you have the right strategy, mutual funds takes long time but investing smartly is the key to short term. Most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest in the market to the cost of proper diversification.

@Darren Kenrick Yeah exactly. My money stays right in my account. it's all programmatic,plus it's relatively much easier to set up and connect my accounts than creating a financial pan and drafting investment strategies myself, my account just mirrors her trades in realtime.
When it comes to investment, diversification is key. Also have my interest set on the key sectors based on performance and projected growth, do not invest all your money in a particular sector, diversifying across different sectors is the way to go.
{{{{OMG}}}} It worked! After watching this video I went in and changed my Move Up amount on Celebrity for our 9-night Italian Riviera cruise!!! I made it an odd number, and today in my e-mail I WON the upgrade!!!! Holy moly, I'm so excited to be in the Retreat!! We have a Sky Suite, and couldn't be more excited!! I paid a little bit more than a concierge fee. Thank you for the tip!!!

Hey Don. Celebrity ships are beautiful indeed. Love the bathroom. Private water closet. Love the shower. Tub looks a little shallow but great size with the shower. Beautiful soft inviting color scheme. Bed facing the balcony for beautiful views. Lovely suite. Hope you enjoyed Malta. That is the beauty of cabin stewards, butler, servers; they notice your likes and try to accommodate and have things available for you. Thanks for sharing and see you next video.
We get the Vista Suites on Holland America, love them, as it’s just my mother and I who cruise. She doesn’t leave the room, just sits on balcony, i on the other explore the ship. We have a Panama Canal cruise with HA in Jan 2023.

Oh, Don, I so agree with you. We loved the space, the bed facing the window, the couch so we didn't have to sit in bed, the bottled water and soda that was stocked for us, free laundry too. I liked the bathroom but not the tub/shower. I am short and it was hard for me to climb into it.
I’m totally the same then you but with the Haven on NCL! Nothing better then this. Once you go there, it’s difficult to go back!
I still think you being a CZcams celebrity kinda plays into the way you are treated. Which is great for you.
Hey Don: this is not Princess related, but thought you'd like to know that Royal Caribbean just changed their protocols for sailings starting September 5. Fully-vaccinated guests no longer need to test for cruises less than 10 days in length. I received an email from RCCL today about this because I sail in December
UPDATE:
also non-vaxxed cruisers must still test. It can be ANY antigen test and no longer needs to be Supervised test.

I agree with you Don. Once you do the Edge class ships and you have tried the suite class, it is tough to go back to anything less than the Sky Suite. When I met Suzy, she had only cruised in an outside cabin. Our first cruise was a balcony on Princess. She said I was spoiling her. We have been on 8 cruises since then and when we upgraded to a suite as a treat, it was the end of the balcony class. When we upgraded to the Edge class on Celebrity, it was pretty much the end of all the other cruise lines or other ships within Celebrity line. It is a very special way to cruise.

Thanks for your review Don; I appreciate your hard work that helps us all cruise smarter and better. Had the luck to sail in a royal suite on Summit last year when ships were practically empty. It was magical! Doing a sky suite on Summit in November. I was surprised at the sparse furniture on your balcony given the space. At a minimum, I would think a table so one could enjoy breakfast on the balcony if not a lounge chair or two. My favorite butler service is packing on the last night of the cruise. That is my least favorite moment when cruising; so it is a MUCH appreciated luxury to have it done for me. I'm a little OCD, and the butler's do a better job than I do packing my suitcase.

In a Sky suite on Apex in February. If you book early you can get that room starting at $3200 pp.

Thanks for the video. My wife and I and another couple booked an 11 night Italy, Greece, and Turkey cruise onboard the Celebrity Beyond in October 2023. We are going to be on the 10th deck 10151 and our friend will be in the next cabin over. We went for the retreat package with an actual deck (not Veranda). I'm planning on doing a vlog after my trip and link it here and tell me what you think. Hopefully, it will be a nice e experience since this will be my first cruise on Celebrity. Thanks again.
I also agree with you 1000%. Loved the Sky Suite and and Retreat Lounge, Pool, Hot Tub & Bar areas. Lumanae is an added plus to all that along with the service you get from your stateroom attendant and butler. I wish they did the same with all Holland America Suite guests not just Neptune Suite and above.
Looking forward to our first Celebrity cruise and in a Sky Suite! Booked last November for this September for an 8 night western Med cruise. The rate is now $4,000 more than what we're paying so in this case it really paid off to book early. I've found it also pays to shop lines - NCL Haven suite was almost twice the price for a similar 7 night itinerary over the same time period. Thanks for all of your insights, Don!

I really, really find it annoying watching videos in which the high priced rooms get praised to the hilt. P.O.'d in fact because invariably I wind up buying the propaganda, and finding out just how great the room/service actually is. This video is going to cost me, I can feel it. We've been in Azamara suites on several occasions, and we are still scratching our heads as to what the butler does, other than bring afternoon tea and wear the silly morning coat. Very good job description. If there is any fault I can find with your report, it deals with the balcony. No table. No table, no comfortable breakfast outside in the morning, I wonder if one could be provided if asked for. On Azamara, even the lowest price veranda/balcony room has an outside table, and we have used it across the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Pacific and Aleutians, as well as Japan. All and all, great report, Celebrity/RC definitely owes you for this one! And glad to hear your health scare faded away. Best regards!

You forgot to show the most important feature. Mirror in bathroom opens up and you can watch ocean from sink. And look into the cabin. It’s a wonderful feature. Perhaps you didn’t know about it. Also place on side of phone to charge up. Kind of hidden.

I'm doing a Sky Suite on Celebrity Summit in November. Probably won't have all the bells and whistles that the Edge Class suites do, but I'm really looking forward to it. I booked it because I love Blu on Celebrity and wanted to try Luminae.
Which Sky Suite rooms have the most private view or best view?

I would rather get ocean view and go on more cruises, and we do lots of exotic ones, our next one is on Celebrity Xpedition to the Galápagos and Machu Pichu for 24k for 2 all inclusive

Great balcony but the chairs leave a lot to be desired.
My very first cruise with Celebrity was last May on the Apex. In a Sky Suite. I was warned that I'd never go back. Correct. I was so in awe of the ship, service, food, and entertainment. We dined mostly in Luminae, but also enjoyed Blu, Eden, and the MDR's on a few nights. But in Luminae Chester and Cindy always remembered us. Our preferences, etc. The Retreat areas were also incredible. We are trying a Sky Suite on Reflection in January, but come next May we'll sail on the Edge. 12 nights from Barcelona to Rome. It's way off, yet I can't wait. Your video did a great job of showing while I may not consider another cruise line anytime in the near future. We had friends on your cruise. They were in a Penhouse. Maybe someday. Thank you!
I’ve sailed on the Edge in a sky suite. My only complaint was the lack of lounging chairs on the balcony. And with a small table on the balcony, it’s a challenge to eat breakfast on the balcony.
We have a sky suite booked on the Edge. I thought you could request lounge chairs. And yes, we will not like a very small table.

You don't have to justify why you want to live like a king onboard. Feel free to book only the presidential suite going forward. With all the money you "save" getting a good rate you should be able to afford only the best. Maybe you should look into flying a private jet vs. commercial travel to the cruises also.
Dong is all about virtue-signalling and showing off.
Don just for one time only you should ask carnival or any of the cruise company to give as sponsor you a week in best room just once so you can really experience each ship and show how different they are.. even if some butter you up, truth it be there own fault if they be nice to you but not other guest.. because really through you they showing that their capable of.
They are very nice but I think the haven by NCL represents better value Don;; only my opinion of course as they tend to be available cheaper the the retreat product on Celebrity.

Have you stayed in the Haven on NCL? I wouldn't do NCL outside of Haven although on Royal and Disney I would do a normal balcony.

Hi Don I like your videos but I am getting tired of cruising I be honest I like change just my opinion
I have NEVER found suites on curse ships to be worth it. Why? Because they cost several times more than regular cabins, but unlike say business class seats on international flights the value add is minimal. Yes, you get more cabin space. But the food, entertainment, excursions and ports are the same as that which the guys in the cheapest insides get. Unlike on a plane where you are basically stuck in your seat and paying more at least allows you to lie down, on a ship you are free to move around, mostly you'll be spending your time somewhere else and there is plenty of sleeping room in regular cabins. What you are paying for is some lounging area and maybe butler service. There are plenty of public lounging spaces to gather with your buddies and plenty of people to serve you on the ship.
Brilliant synopsis and sound reasoning there. Dong only does it to impress and show off. The original Dong ( 3-4 years ago ) only sailed interior, because that is all he could afford. Now that he thinks that he is some hotshot travel agent, he doesn't mind splurging for the best, courtesy of the schlubs on here that contribute to his welfare fund.
TOTALLY disagree from every point of view. In fact I cannot even comprehend your comments. In actual fact it is like comparing cattle class to business class on flights................ But it is for many days versus many hours.
@@cliffnorman178 , suites are way overpriced, unless you have the means. If Dong didn't have the supplementary You Tube income he does, he would not be able to fly first class and stay at 5 star hotels and book sky suites, plain and simple. He never did before, the evidence is there.
@@davidmurphy7582 The word "1Overpriced " is totally relative. For one person an inside cabin could be overpriced and for another person a suite is operpriced. It has all got to be about your perceptions, as every person's perception is their reality. Nothing more, nothing less.

And another thing : why don't you tell us the REAL reason you like the Sky Suite on the Beyond ? It's because of all the extra YT money you make on here that allows you to upgrade at no personal cost to you.
There is no way he is making much money off of CZcams. 100k subscribers and a handful of views is piss in the ocean (no pun intended) compared to what the serious influencers have and earn.
