EP 27 - Yorkshireman on the Broad

Lucky Tom came down from Yorkshire to Norfolk for a flight on the Broad using his BASC membership. If Tom visits, there is generally plenty of birds around and this was a great morning even if the Greylags were just a bit too wary. We had some Wigeon give themselves up at first light, coming right into the decoys, sadly too dark for Go Pro to pick them up. We were able to film some Greylags just missing us and then Shoveler, Gadwall and Mallard being taken plus Merlin pulling off a great retrieve.

Gregg Hill 35 years of seasons and the experience gained go into making a bag fowling, plus you have to shoot well, which on a rowing boat is not easy. I’ll try and put more tips in the videos next season.
