Hilarious! Mr. Pretty Bird just keeps on whistling while Marnie is chatting up a storm. They are sooo cute together. And Marnie's mom ~ you do a lot of food prep in the videos, and I can certainly relate to that, with 6 birds and 4 kids! Thanks for sharing such cute videos.
My 10 month old Thunder demands to watch a variety of Marnie videos each day, even before he could talk. Now, my Australian born bird speaks with a slight American accent. Peekaboo and what are ya doin? were his first words, now there are random Marnie noises & chirps popping up everywhere with a new 'You're so cute!!' ...he has no idea what it even means!!! Thanks Marnie for setting such a good example to my baby. He's your biggest fan xxxx
I know animal "experts" say they are mimicking, but I think that after awhile they know what it means when we & they say something, because after little while, they start having body language and inflection when they speak.
I played this video two rooms away and my cockatiel Baby instantly started whistling the Andy Griffith theme song with Mr. Pretty Bird. It's his favorite song too.
Oh my goodness!!! Marnie is a doll! My kids and I watched him say "Wheeee!" at 0:44 about 20 times, and we laughed harder each time! What a sweetheart he is. You are a lucky birdie mama for sure!
