Tori and Toy did not know what to expect from Crocodile Dundee, but what they got was a fun romantic romp with a ton of laughs and all the emotions.
They thought that Paul Hogan as Mick Dundee and Linda Kozlowski as Sue Charlton were adorable as love interests while John Meillon as Walter Reilly and Reginald VelJohnson as Gus were wonderful comedic relief.
The jokes and puns that the girls came up with are on a whole new level with this reaction. when a New York times reporter travels to Australia to go to the Outback to see where Mick Dundee was bitten by a Crocodile and then takes him back to New York City makes for an amazing fish-out-of-water comedy.
Enjoy this reaction and let us know whether the girls should check out Crocodile Dundee II, the sequel.

Aside from Crocodile Dundee and Die Hard, what are good movies with Reginald VelJohnson?
I love Reginald VelJohnson in Family Matters 👪. That show is hilarious 😆.
Reginald has always been a supporting actor in movies. I would recommend the movies "Wolfen" or "Remo Williams". Those are good movies but if you blink you'll miss him because his parts are small. I would go with the Tom Hanks movie "Turner and Hooch".
the odd angry shot
Turner & Hooch 😉 Def worth checking out No 2!. The Original "Mad Max Trilogy" are all made in australia👍
They got married in real-life. After some years, sadly they broke up...but she has since found the love of her life in another man.
All of the "Crocodile Dundee" films are great - so you'll receive a fun and earned resolution.
As per Australian based films, there is "Quigley Down Under" and "Walkabout". You'll love both, but the latter will mess your heads up. You should also watch the Australian based mini-series "The Thorn Birds"...and the Australian TV series "McLeod's Daughters" (not the movie version).
Yes please watch Crocodile Dundee 2.
Producer's note: if this video performs well, then the sequel reaction will come soon. 😸
@RuntotheMovies make sure if possible to watch the third one ...most think it's no good...but you should give it a go..it has its moments.
@@ASKMEABOUTMYGARDEN seconded
NOTE: If you ask most people which one is better 1 or 2, you would probably get about half and half. Almost all would say watch part 2.
"Thats not a knife" has be as good as any line in every movie. Arnold would agree
Paul Hogan and Linda Koslowski got married a few years after this movie came out, and were together for almost 25 years.
don't leave out the part where he left his wife for her.
When herding sheep and finding themselves getting into a tight spot from overcrowding, Australian sheepdogs are known to run along the sheep's backs in order to get out of that spot and get back on the job. This is essentially what Mick does in the subway at the end...a lot of winks and hints at Australian culture throughout the movie...😊
I was looking to see if someone would explain this reference
"He's checking out her outback." Good one! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"I'm a good cook"....."and she's got it!" LOL!!!
Bwahahaha, I laughed so hard at that 😂
Like she wasn't already distracting enough lol
"Does he stay in New York? Do they get married?!" Guess you ladies will have to watch the next movies. 😏
He learned real quick in the city to perform that check 🤚 before proceeding 😂😂
Before we even start, Toy is gonna be head over heels for Mick. I'm calling it.
Quigley Down Under is another movie set in the Australian Outback, and criminally underrated IMHO
I have mixed feelings about it. I liked Tom Selleck's character, but felt Alan Rickman's character was a bit over the top.
Remember alligators make good shoes but crocodiles make crocs 🤣
Well done. Well....done (salute).
The main actors actually fell in love in real life on the set of this movie
Crocodile Dundee II is just as good with more action 👍
10:50 Did you two miss the part where he was looking at Wally's watch? He did that to see what time it was so he good then put on the act of looking at the sun and knowing the time. Wally then put his hand over his watch so Sue wouldn't see when she came up to him afterwards. LOL You didn't comment on it, so it seemed like you missed it. It's a bit subtle, but it's one of the funniest moments in the movie for me.
At least they noticed at 16:09 when he switched from the razor to the knife to look more masculine. 😆
"Oohh, I hate the bush," gets me every time
I’ve seen quite a few Americans react to this movie and they all miss the watch gag and most miss the shaving gag as well.
Another suggestion for Romcoms that most men like to watch are "Overboard" with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and "Romancing the Stone" with Michael Douglas.
Producer's note: we have a reaction to Romancing the Stone. Such a wonderful film!
The original Overboard is perfect ❤
Yes! Crocodile Dundee 2 is a great sequel! 😀
When making the Sequel (which is excellent) Paul Hogan & Linda Kozlowski fell in love for real. Their relationship last 26 years from 1988-2014. They have one Son. The 2 most Australian movies you can watch are "The Man From Snowy River"(1982) and "Gallipoli"(1981). Both a big part of Aussie history. Snowy River was the highest grossing Aussie movie before Dundee.
Don't forget Strictly Ballroom!
Oh! I remembered The Lighthorsemen but forgot Galipoli!
Both the Lighthorsemen and The Man From Snowy River feature Sigrid Thornton, whom I developed a crush on watching "All the River's Run".
(Yes, the series was shown in America at one time).
When you tell people you're from Dundee and the first thing they say is like the crocodile
😹😹😹
"Ay! I'm a good cook!"
👈"And she's got IT!"
🤣🤣🤣
Mick would love you Toy, like many of us 😉
But seriously, great outfit 😍
"The Man From Snowy River" is regarded as a Aussie classic that's based on a poem!......Love your reaction's Toy and Tori.
great recommendation - 100%
"checking out her outback?" Nice.😂
Toy and Tory crushing on Paul Hogan (Mick Dundee)...❤😂😅😊...I'm loving it here! Toy: "She's a good cook and she's got big..."...roflmao Toy: "He's checking out her Outback."...😂😅😊
I think you two would like Lady Hawke.
The soundtrack ALONE is worth it. Bake in that 80's dramatic synopop. I predict tears...
That sounds fun!
Not Toy saying she's also a good cook when Mick mentioned the... "assets" of his ex wife... xD
The sequel is a good one too, give it a watch! :)
Possibly better. VERY hard not to spoil, so please watch it soon or I'll pop a quote. Twist your arm Toy? Tori, you might want to be ready for medical assistance. More shirtless "Mick."
Hahahaha and not Tori saying I got the other thing! 😂😂😂😂
@@toy4871 That's obvious though. 😄😄❤️
Great Reation to this Classic....... I have Enjoyed it since seeing it in Theaters.....
Crocodile Dundee II is worth Watching...... Crocodile Dundee: Los Angelos (3) leaves a little to be desired....
Movies Related to Australia: "Australia" 2008, "The Man from Snowy River" 1982, "Return to Snowy River" 1988, "Quigley Down Under" 1990, "Mad Max" 1979, "Gallipoli" 1981, "Muriel's Wedding" 1994, "The Adventures of Priscilla, "Queen of the Desert" 1994, "Babe" 1995....
Hopefully, this video will perform well. Then we will watch part 2 for sure.
@@RuntotheMovies
I just wanna say Muriel's Wedding is ****ing great. If you like Abba and Toni Collette, 👌🏽.
Awesome reaction as usual 😊This movie is so iconic i knew you two would love Mick Dundee for many reasons haha😂 hes definitley one of the coolest movie characters ever!!"Thats not a knife thats a knife!"
This was by far the most entertaining reaction to this film I have ever seen on CZcams. I'm so looking forward to Toy and Tory's continued journey of crushing on Paul Hogan to continue!
Hard hat guy says "we're jammed in like sheep". Dundee walks on top of them. That's what sheepdogs do in Australia.
That's my evening's viewing sorted 🙂🏴
I was just listening to the score to this film not too long ago, great Peter Best composition.
25:10 “I’m giving in now, do it.” I assume Toy is speaking as Sue in that moment, because despite keeping her feelings hidden behind an excellent poker face, I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that Toy gave in mere moments after proclaiming “I smell love interest”.
"I'm a good cook"
"And she's got it"
lol, well, it was a matter of time somebody pointed them out and I appreciate it :^)
My wife and i actually stayed at the Ritz in Manhatten on our trip to the USA in 2014. I'm from Australia as it happens. xx
I'm glad you recognized Reginald Velljohnson. The last movie I saw him and Paul Hogan in was "The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee," a few years ago, playing versions of themselves. Olivia Newton John and Chevy Chase are also in it.
A very memorable Movie of my Youth. Love it, and love your Reaction. Just as we seen it back then
Find someone who looks at you the way Toy looks at Paul Hogan. 😀
I love how NYC is portrayed in this movie. A bunch of friendly sociable folks, often doing something or going somewhere.
That is the NYC I grew up in in the 80s/90s. 😊
The limo driver played police officer Carl Winslow in family matters, but this movie is the only role that I ever saw him in where he didn't play a cop lol. In both Die Hard and Ghostbusters he also played a cop lol. Part 2 is one of the few sequels that equals or surpasses the first one, so you'll love it.
One of my favourite movies 👍 I live in Australia, and would love to visit New York one day ! Great reaction video Lady's 👍
Hercules Returns is a typical Australian comedy
I love that film!
@@Lenkic13 my brother and sister laughed so hard they got abs
i loved this movie and your reaction to it , it's become so iconic a great feel good comedy from the 80's
Paul Hogan created a great character here in CROCODILE DUNDEE !
what a lead in to the weekend to watch a great reaction from TOY and TORI
sending good vibes
CHEERS .
😄 ❤
I spit my coffee out when you said "Checking out her Outback."
Glad you watched part 1. I get to catch the premiere for a change instead of watching it after the fact. Part 2 & 3 are worth it.
Paul Hogan was nominated for an Oscar for Best Screenplay for the film.
Linda Koslowski who played Sue fell in love with Paul and they married in real-life. They divorced in 2014. She only did a handful of films even though she graduated from Julliard's Acting Program, and later gave up acting entirely. She and Paul had a son, Chance. Her last role was playing Sue in Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles (the third film) in 2001.
The second one is a lot of fun...I still have never seen the third one.
I LOVED this reaction. The Crocodile Dundee movies are some of my all time favorites. It was great to see you two enjoy them so thoroughly. To me, the first two movies are perfectly crafted. I actually enjoy the third one as well. I really hope we get to see you react to the rest of the series.
We loved this movie, all of us did, boys and girls, the 80s were great no matter what they tell y’all 😂, thanks for sharing 😊👍✌️🇺🇸
Can't believe it's nearly forty years since I saw this on the big screen, and it still feels like yesterday; already knew Paul Hogan from the mini-series ANZACS, but this was an extra bonus from when he was at the height of his fame, kerk
Toy is almost out of uniform today 🤣🤣🤣👀
She might as well just wear a bikini. I think Tori is more beautiful.
My goodness, be still my heart you both look fantastic!
OK, Aussie movies worth seeing...
The Castle- Just an everyday man and his family trying to protect his home against the powers that be
The Dish- Australia's contribution to the Moon Landing
Priscilla: Queen of the Desert- One of the most Fabulous comedies you'll see this year
Red Dog- I don't know where to begin, but you girls love doggo's, so this will be a treat.
Quigley Down Under- An Aussie Western starring Professor Snape himself!
Chopper- The Autobiographical story of one of Australia's most infamous criminals, Chopper Reid
Wolf Creek- An Aussie horror film that'll stop you backpacking forever
Undead- An Aussie Zombie comedy
Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead- Another Aussie Zombie film
Cargo- An Aussie Zombie film staring Martin Freeman
Daybreakers- An Aussie vampire film staring Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe directed by the same studio as Undead (above)
and finally
Babe- That'll do, pig, that'll do
Don’t forget Mad Max I and II, and the Man from Snowy River.
Awww, it’s so sweet seeing Toy watching a sweet 80’s romance. The way your smile lights up when Paul Hogan whips out his Aussie accent is just a delight. Ah, if I were a younger man you’d break my heart. “Checkin’ out her outback” I almost died 😂
Part 2 is a fun watch as well. Go for it. Can stop after that.
The airport scene was actually filmed at Newark Airport in NJ, but he stayed at The Plaza Hotel in Manhattan which is at the bottom right corner of Central Park. When she's running to catch him at Grand Central Station Terminal, a wall of Central Park is on her right, which means she would be running across the bottom right to left or along the left side going up, which are totally the wrong way b/c her destination is at a 45 degree angle down from The Plaza Hotel!! 😆🙃😆🙃 Silly fun
That was a great reaction , from an Aussie, this IS what we are like, you would love it here, and we would love you. everyone is your mate, until you prove different
You missed Dundee stealing a look at Wally's watch before he "got" the time trom the sun.
She is seriously making biscuits. too cute.
Boo is the star of our show. 😺
Girls....great reaction.....there is a sequel that answers your questions.....
Great reaction brovo girls, and both ofyou def made it easy on the eyes with your jaw-dropping beauty! XOXO
You girls are so much fun to watch old movies with! I love that you aren’t PC and can just let your hair down a bit and enjoy the movie! 👌🏻
Took about 5 minutes for both of y'all to fall for him 😂
😂😂😂😂 he is pretty cool 😊❤
We need you two to be watching the next one. 😂
I once did an Outback excursion and stayed in a place similar to Walkabout Creek. It was something else LOL I will never forget my time out there.
Part 2 is great. I have not seen the others.
America was going Australia crazy around the time this came out.
Tori is on point in this reaction with the one-liners. 😂
Holy crap! A nice Calico. I've only seen them at my vet hospital. Nice to know that they are so loving at home. Yay!! Love cats.
Boo is the star of our show. 😺
Strictly Ballroom is a classic iconic Australian film!
I remember going to see this at the movies when I was 13. Loved it then, love it now. Never been up in the top end of Northern Territory, but top end of QLD around Cairns / Port Douglas is absolutely beautiful. I live an hour south of Melbourne in a little town called mount Martha. Beautiful spot but cold in winter. Anyway great reaction girls.
17:35: Women can take care of themselves! That’s basically what she was telling him by firing the gun so close to his feet and legs.
No, she was saying I can shoot a gun, then proved his point by nearly getting killed.
Which was extremely irresponsible and immature of her.
yes women can take care of themselves, that's why evolution never happened and the human species doesn't exist.
Just in case you missed it The guy in the subway said you can't get through ,They are jammed in like sheep. In Australlia we have lots of sheep & use well trained sheep dogs to keep flocks of sheep under control & some times in a big Flock the dogs will jump on the sheep's backs & run across them to get to the other side.
Thanks for this tidbit!
Did you two smoke up or something before hand? That was the most joyful reaction I've seen in years.
You definitely want to watch Crocodile Dundee 2! Its one of the few movies that the sequel is just as good as the original
I just wanna say a word for the music in this movie. I think it’s beautiful and epic and makes it feel like a capital F _Film_ . Romantic comedies often half-ass that stuff.
I agree. The music in the subway scene is just right and makes for a perfect ending.
For a great Aussie RomCom - Paperback Hero with a very young Hugh Jackman, and definitely Dundee 2. Cheers
I knew you ladies would love this flick because I really love it too! ❤
(By the way, I could tell that Paul Hogan charmed you both! Interviewers have said that he was even more of a charmer in real life!)
"Come on down mate and let's put a shrimp on the barbie, no worries!" 😜
I love you ladies! You both look fantastic today!
I'm now going to make me some oatmeal cookies because the way you both were talking about food has made me kind of hungry!
Great show! Best to you! 💕
Thank You Science Theater 3,000 you were the first Movie Reactor's to start it all long before there was Internet, & CZcams.
My favorite seasons are the ones with Mike Nelson. I can't decide on what my favorite riff was but some of my very favorite:
Soultaker, Werewolf, Final Sacrifice, Zombie Nightmare, Space Mutiny, Bogey Creek 2.
MST3K was hilarious 😂
It is a mystery why you didn't include the mystery in the title.
This is a classic romantic comedy that is still as funny as ever. I saw this in the theater when it came out, and the whole theater burst into cheers and applause at the ending, probably the greatest final scene ever in a romantic comedy. No one expected more. If there were more, it would be a disappointing anticlimax.
Paul Hogan became known in the U.S. for a very popular series of commercials he did for the Australia Tourism Board. He presented the same sort of character, a super-friendly regular guy who invited you to visit him in Australia. He capitalized on that popularity to make this movie. He and his co-star actually got married after the movie was made.
Tori and Toy must have just finished their own walkabouts just prior to filming this reaction, cause somebody is mighty thirsty...
This is the first movie I ever saw in the theater. Amazing movie. You definitely need to check out part two.
That end scene of Mick walking on people's shoulders, you can see that sometimes in Australia when a sheep dog will jump on the backs of sheep and walk across them to get to the other side of the herd.
8:36 That hilarious moment when the movie character unintentionally described one of the reactors😉🤣
As an Australian, I love this reaction. Please watch Crocodile Dundee 2. The weather is good here; can't avoid getting a tan.
Two great Australian movies : The Man from Snowy River and Quigley Down Under. Both westerns.
Great reaction! If you loved the first film you'll love the second. Another great Australian classic you should watch is "Mad Max" (1979). It's the start of a legend.
Wow! T & T bringing the heat tonight looking as gorgeous as ever. CDII is a good watch. "Quigley Down Under" (1990) is set in Australia, and it is one of my favorites. Tom Selleck, Alan Rickman, and Laura San Giacomo are all great in it. A virtually unknown Australian pair of movies that I have always loved is "The Man from Snowy River" (1982) and its sequel "Return to Snowy River" (1988). The former has Kirk Douglas in a dual role and the later has Brian Dennehy alongside some wonderful Aussie talent. Set in the 1880s, these display great horsemanship and beautiful animals.
20:49 Toy has the line of the day 🤣
I had a crush on Linda Kozlowski when this came out. I knew someone at the time who looked a bit like her.
Now you have to watch the sequel to find out what happens next.
Nice reaction ladies. You would like part 2. Keep in mind that those 2 people (the main actor+actress) got married after they made this movie and stayed (I think happily) together for a very long time. :)
Crocodile Dundee 2 and 3. Part 2 is amazing
Oh I can't wait! 😊😊😊❤
"As long as it's not a big spider..."
It's big, but it's not a spider. 🤣
And I guess they missed the part where Mick checked Wally's watch right before "using the sun to tell time."
Crocodile Dundee 2 Will live up to us your expectations 👌
Great reaction girls😆
Hey! As an Aussie who enjoys watching your reactions this was a treat!
♥️♥️♥️
I never made the Die Hard connection before. Thank you Ladies. ❤
#2 is more of an action comedy and #3 is more of a family comedy. All three are charming movies.
Almost an angel Paul Hogan movie
Mad Max. Helluva Aussie romantic comedy. You'll love it.
I really love your Death Star background!
Two things;
1. This movie is a classic
2. 🌹🌹for you both
A great little comedy with Eowyn (Miranda Otto) from Lord of the Rings, is "Danny Deckchair". It's nearest American equivalent is "Doc Hollywood"
Producer's note: I was just thinking about Doc Hollywood this morning. I always confuse it with Footloose.
Ouuuu I definitely want to see this one. Thanknyou so much 😊😊😊😊❤
Part 2 is worth it...and answers some of your questions.
A lot of great Aussie films, including the original Mad Max (1979), and even another Mel Gibson film the same year called Tim. For a tense time I recommend Wolf Creek (2005). Great reaction, as always, ladies.
I remember, when seeing this movie in the theater, hearing a lot of wolf whistles when Sue removed her skirt before filling her canteen with water.
