Can hear so many of Sigur Ros' songs in here. From Njósnavélin to Dauðalogn. Now I can clearly hear the part you played in Sigur Ros and what you added to the music. It's brilliant, and I think you added the most spirit to their music. Wish I could hear you with them again, but so glad you are doing your own thing at the same time. In a way, it sounds more pure and brings out those elements that I liked to hear so much in Sigur Ros without the outside influence.
Exactly! I think he often get's overlooked by the most people because he held himself in the backgroud at SR concerts. He added so much to SR. Though they were really good without him after 2012 but now that he is back they are brilliant again and I am so thankful that he's back with them
I wish there was more of Kjartan's music around. It doesn't seem to be available at all. He is sorely missed in Sigur Ros. He added such power to the band. Their last album had a few good tracks, but it was missing that special something which was Kjartan's touch.
This little ruby of music that you want to share only with your precious relatives. It's a masterpiece for those who can listen to it. He has the old and godlike power to give intensity and time in his melodies. He knows how to hit strong without frenzy, in that sense he's walking on the same path as a Allegri, Bach or Tallis. Impressive and immense.
You can clearly hear he works with a logicallity of a keyboard player. Long usage of pads and strings are really played well and then put to orchestration is just wonderful to hear. Great composition!
