đđ»ââïž About Me
Hi, I'm Krista! On my channel I share my travels and life as a performer working on cruise ships.
You should have way more subscribers! Honestly, Your videos are getting more and more enjoyable to watch- thank you for sharing your daily routine and life with us. Please do show us more of the rehearsals, have always been curious how a show is put together.
Thank you! That means so much to me đ„č Iâll be sure to take you guys along for the whole process! â„ïž
I always take powerstrips, as long as they are not the surge protected ones, they are allowed for guests. You probably already know this tip too but take magnetic hooks and a sheet or a shower curtain and you can divide the room up or create your own space when you need it. Looking forward to the next one... Stay dry!
It depends on security for us I feel like. A lot of the cabins have curtains around the best for privacy but since Robert and I share a âsingleâ cabin usually, there isnât one đ so that could be a good idea!
Thanks so much for sharing your life with us! I love your videos!
Thank you so much! â€ïž
Watching this from the Ovation of the Seas on our Alaska cruise! Love seeing the lead up to what it takes you guys to prepare for your new roles! I have a new understanding of the performers I see on this ship from following your vlogs!
Hope youâre having a great cruise! Thank you for watching! Iâm excited to share more of the process đ€
Would love to hear you and Robert singâŠeven just a little!
I'll try to add something in soon:)
@@krista.jocelyn That would be awesome! Thank you! â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž
Good requestđ.
Have fun đ
Thank you!!
Water should be ran through a softener too being filtered that many times itâd be hard af.
New favorite channel!! So happy I subscribed
Yay! Thank you so much!! đ€â„ïž
I really enjoy your videosâ€â€
Thank you!! đ„č
Go you for attempting something new! 5-6-7-8! Publix will give you the same price if you buy one of the two-for sale items, but I also love an excuse to get two packages of Oreos! đ€Ł
Haha okay we realized that a few days later and were likeâŠoh đ
Hey! Congrats on the new contract, question, you donât have to give the specifics but was wondering if the pay you get for doing what you do is good compared to regular day jobs. Was always curious if entertainers on cruises worked because they were compensated well or if it is more of working doing something you love and being able to see the world.
Hi! So the pay can really vary from each cruise line, the shows you're doing, if you're a singer or dancer, etc... but in general the pay is better than many regional theaters that often offer something like $400 a week (again depending, but very common.) I love it for all those reasons you mentioned! đ€
For people who've already lived in cruise ship cabins, I'm sure that accomodation feels quite spacious! Though very green. đ
Haha true! I should enjoy the space while I have it! Lol
Space isn't everything. Some of the cheapest crappiest motels have the largest rooms. I would hate staying in the dump that they assigned here. Ugly and looks like a college dorm or hostel. These companies take advantage of cruise ship employees and under pay them and mis treat them. If it were me I would move to a normal 4 or 5 star hotel and bill my employer. These "accomodations" suck.
@@LeslieA-gu2qj if you did that, they'd refuse to pay it and terminate your contract. Cruise ship entertainers get paid pretty well, far above the average crew.
@@StillPooh62 thats fine. I would never work for a company that treats it's employees like crap.
@@LeslieA-gu2qj so you've worked for Norwegian cruise lines?
FYI the red fabric lint brushes take deodorant off like magic. No water required. Good luck of creating a gym routine
I'll need to try those!! Thanks đ
Do you get your meals provided?
Not in rehearsals unfortunately!
@@krista.jocelyn wow that sucks! Thatâs expensive
I thought you were a singer/dancer on the upcoming cruise - just singer this time?
I was a dancer previously and now a singer! đ€
You are filtering chlorine out of the water to save your hair and skin from drying out.
Itâs all making sense now đ

Oh my gosh where are you staying? Is that a hotel? It's so ugly and run down. I cannot believe that any employer would put their employees up in a place like that, with ugly bright green walls?! That's crazy. I work in a different industry but any time I have ever been on a business trip I have stayed in 4 or 5 star accommodations. That's what most companies do, with the exception of any shady cheap companies... Sorry you are so mistreated (and probably underpaid) by your greedy employer
