Interesting to see that the Japanese version of the first boss maintained its original look from R-Type 2. In the European version it's censored which surprised me. The censors being ridiculous after all these decades, though the developers might have done it for a laugh as a cheeky nod to the censors back then. The new design looks great, but it would have been even better if we had the choice between the two.

すんなりクリアしているが、結構シビアなはず。たまがでると速いから速攻で倒している。実に美しくクリアする。素晴らしい。あと、対空レーザー、反射レーザー、対地レーザーを上手く使う。そういう所も好きだね。でも一番好きなの対空レーザーたよね？ 前聞いたかな？
ノーミスだとビットがあるので基本的に対空が圧倒的に有利
対地は場所によってはとても強い
反射は狭い所で便利だけど、今回は広いステージが多いので微妙かも

are you sure you mean R-Type II and not R-Type FINAL 2? I can't find any censorship mentioned of R-Type II, on which system?

子供がプレイしたら余りよくない。人間の内臓や器官がベースなのがわかる。明らかにわいせつな器官をキャラクターにしたのは解剖学を学習した人には解る。いわゆる鼠径部だ。アールタイプの戦闘機さえも。成人には目のやり場に困る敵キャラクターも。
