- Tropical Depression Nine strengthened into Tropical Storm Ian on Friday night. It was forecasted to become a hurricane by Monday morning, shift to a Category 2 storm as it moves through the southern Caribbean, and into a Category 3 once it emerges over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
Every storm that comes off the African coast dreams of becoming a hurricane and hitting Florida.

Florida . How is it that the smallest island in Atlantic (Bermuda) gets hit so often.. We just had to deal with Cat 4 Fiona on Friday and part of Saturday.. Thankfully we build some very strong houses here because it no where to run when it does come just take the necessary precautions and hope for the best..

This storms 'future' is based on projections. It reminded me of the Cat 5 that was predicted to hit Miami.. curved around the state and was heading straight for Tampa Bay...(a storm surge disaster ! )..then an unforeseen dry patch of air sheared it down to a Cat 3 and pushed it ashore South of the bay... Yes.. Prayer is always the best first response to any disaster, real or imagined.

I love how the european is mostly always accurate and they use and stick to their gfs (american model), because of where we live but shouldnt they stop being prideful and give the best information? They always stay when showing the cone the american model, and then when “it shifts”, its bcuz “oh look what it did-“ i feel like they do this on purpose tbh…
I was thinking if it hooks any bit further left, as the American model predicts it will, the storm will become not just a cat 3 but a cat 4. That’s just my inclination to believe with the exposure to more open waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and I don’t believe it’ll hook as far east as the European model says, even though you say it’s more accurate, I do hope you end up being right though! I fear it’ll become a more dangerous cat 4 if it tracks further west like the American model says

the weather can talk all they wont to but they dont know for sure where it going are how strong it will be i have been in 4 of them 2 of them they said that it was going one way we went the other way, but they changed and came over up and they were a rough ride to see everything rip apart in front of me and friends and family so if they say go one way go the other lol

What does AI have to do with GPS? The only time AI has ever been involved in GPS was when they wanted to make that upgrade that makes sure you are in the right lane. Why don't you create a "land based GPS." Tell me how it would work and then maybe I'll believe you.
