Bernard Herrmann talks about Alfred Hitchcock - Hudba
Bernard Herrmann's contributions to Hitchcock films is immeasurable. Just turn down the sound and you'll see what I mean
This is the first time I have seen Herrmann talking. Usually I only hear his audio interviews, or just see him conducting (which is always fascinating), but I have never seen him talking yet.
Same here.
Many thanks for sharing this!
Vertigo is in the top 5 film scores of all time, Psycho is amazing too
Herrmann = genius
God
Has the persona and accent to be a brooklyn butcher shop owner and quite possibly the greatest composer who ever lived
I have a notion to second that emotion !! :-)
100% genius
😊👍🏼
Hitch was a first-class 'Pommie' shit. He had a very high opinion of himself, looking down with contempt on his actors, cinematographers, editors, producers, composer. His treatment of Bernard Herrmann is beneath contempt!
Oh please, give me the end result over your petty observations; some of the greatest movies ever made. Besides, Herrmann would always say that it was his great privilege to have worked with Hitchcock.
@@davidcawrowl3865 As I personally knew and worked with Bernard Herrmann, whereas you did neither, your comments are a complete waste of time.
@@davidcawrowl3865 Hardly petty. You are a 'wanker'.
Without Benny, Hitchcock would have been a third rate director...viz, Torn Curtain composed (afterwards) by John Addison. What trash!!!
@@josephstagnitto7832 That is rubbish, and you know it
