thank you so much for this, I printed the pdf at 105% which gives the extra space for the seam allowance required and although I don't have a sewing machine I stitched it by hand and it fits me perfectly :) I use 2mm polyester felt for the filter material. I also added 20g (.8mm) beading wire to bend over the bridge of my nose to keep it more secure there.

I did sew an „extra pocket“ for the nose thing, open on one small side, so i can put the nose thing out. Makes it easier to wash.

Thank you for this. This could very well be a life saving tutorial putting a damper on spread and helping those who can't find out of stock masks. I would recommend white fabric for bleaching and sterilization reasons. But excellent tutorial, and thank you so much. 😷❤
The coronavirus has a very fragile envelope. Soap is excellent for breaking its lipid barrier. Regular soap or laundry detergent is fine.

N.B : I replace the wire by a chunk of 1.5 mm² electric wire and it works pefectly

요 방법 대로 20개 만들었어요. 감사합니다. 하시는 분은 겉 아사, 안 거즈 등 얇은 천으로 재단하셔요. 쓰니 좀 덥습니다. ㅠㅠ 필터 재단을 고민 했는데요. 저는 가로 19cm×세로11cm로 직사각형 재단 해서 테두리를 동영상과 반대방향으로 본처럼 둥글리고 반접은 상태에서 중심선 아래 위 모서리를 삼각형으로 조금 꺾어 입체로 넣었습니다. 이 방법이 제일 낫네요. 필터에 힘이 있을 경우요. 저는 kf80 샀더니 힘이 좀 있어서 그럼 방법으로 넣었습니다.
20개를 만드셨다니 대단하십니다.

Fyi, she's a Korean youtuber....not Chinese. Not sure why some ppl assume anything they see "Asian" has to do with China/Chinese, it's like assuming a French to be a German (meaning that's how different these countries are in Asia as well... And obviously there're more than 1 country in Asia.) Get the best HEPA vacuum bags, 100% effective. 99.97, they are rated and the remaining. 03(micron) will be caught and kept out by diffusion. Cut according to size needed.

*Best mask l've seen yet! but where do you get the filters from?*
*Wearing masks could also get you too hot in the summer.*
you can use polyester felt (the standard here is 2mm thick and it's quite breathable) from your local hobby craft shop as you need a non-woven material to use for the filter or use a hepa vacuum bag (but much harder to breathe through),. and don't stop wearing a mask in the summer as hot and protected is better than cool and not!

Korea is way ahead for masks due to their environment we in Australia have never had to wear them only when we have the flu then rarely

One of the back pieces (bottom piece) doesn't fit right. The top fit great while the bottom piece too long. What hv I done wrong? I sew exactly the same allowance as the top.

If you stitch the 07:00 section of the video to the top of the outer fabric, sew the top of the lining, and sew the bottom of the lining below the outer fabric, the center of the lining will overlap.

In Korea, mask filters are sold separately.

Try polypropylene. It's the basic filter material in N95 mask. They use 4 layers of it. I found it looking at their patent. You can search it online.
Polypropylene fabric is what's used in making pillow covers.
Not to start a run on vacuum cleaner bags, but the classy ones will genreally give excellent filtration results
@@Angharadz2 I heard some filters contain glass fibers etc. that are bad for the human lung so definitely check what material they are made of
