Honestly this was my favorite series of videos in a LONG LONG LONG time! It was fun. It was educational. It was inspiring. I haven’t made a pie yet but I’m making a list of what I want to make this season. Thank you for sharing your pies and your family with us.

Watching this video jogged my memory of watching The French Chef on public television our b&w tv with my mom when I was little. My mom is still a big fan of Julia Child and uses her cookbooks and recipes regularly. I think this format of you sharing your recipes and process is every bit as compelling as those shows. I don't need one every single day, but the satisfaction Megan gets from cooking and learning is very contagious and... well, your family is good medicine! Thank you!

My favorite savory pie would have been the Irish potato. I was devastated when one fell on the floor. My heart stopped and I knew how you all felt when that happened.

I already miss pie month so I can't wait to see what you do with the bread recipes. I think my favorite part of September pie month was seeing the reaction of each of person. I already knew your kids were awesome, but their personalities really shined during the month. I feel like we got to see their true personalities that sometimes are missed in other videos. Great job Mike and Megan on raising such polite and funny kids! BTW I have to agree with Jude and Pearl on picking the tomato pie as their favorite savory. I'm like Jude and could eat tomatoes 24/7.

I loved pie 🥧 month! I felt like I was one of your family getting pie each day. I didn’t get to taste it but I could just feel how excited everyone was and I would be to have my Mom make pie everyday for a month.
It was so much fun to watch the month of Sept pies. Every day after work I looked forward to see what you made. I still can't believe how fast 30 days of pie making went by.
Now that I think of it, I have never made sure that I check when a youtuber’s video is uploaded. I looked forward to watching the videos everyday lol I literally checked everyday after homeschooling.
I really enjoyed this series. I think it might have been so enjoyable for you were complex, you tried something new, great outcomes, lots of complements, plus the satisfaction of caring for your family.

The month of pies was not only drool worthy delicious, so well done, a sweet peek into family time together, visually so appealing in how you filmed it (I enjoyed the soothing jazzy tunes too!) but also supremely inspiring. I have made all sorts of pie, quite a few of which you have shown and felt quite the satisfaction of a watercrust pastry too--I think i sqealed when i removed the springform and it stood on its own! but now i must make a steak and Ale pie and cranberry and gingerbread and sweet potato are on deck for the holidays thanks to y'all--God Bless!

On a somewhat related note, you might enjoy the book Julie & Julia about a woman who spent a year blogging her endeavor to make every recipe in Julia Child's cookbook. It was later made into a movie.

I have to laugh that one of your pies hit the floor. I think that has happened to all of us at one point or another. My mom once dropped an entire lasagna on the floor and quickly put it back in the pan. She had the dog lick up the mess.😂😂
