The power side of the motor must be powered on both ends of the winding.. On one side of the contactor in the first winding. and the other 4th grade of star delta

Why you not use MCB before motor protection?
Because this one already have overload and overcurrent protection.
Its a very good presentation but you cannot read the soft start number terminals which is frustrating. I had to watch it 3 times to get what was going on because of this. Otherwise its another great video and i get a lot from them. Can you include the model details of the soft starter or a link to its specification where we can read up some of the theory of this specific model. Also we could reference this to read the terminal numbers so there would not be an issue following the video. Many thanks , Michael
Hi, Thanks for your feedback. I couldn't find better picture of this soft start that is why terminals description might be blurred. This is Altistar 01 soft start and I've found the manual on Schneider Electric website.
Very nice video. As a suggestion for showing the terminal identification on the soft start, you could add a text block to the side of soft start with just the identifiers, and the audience could easily related those position wise back to the picture. I like the music too. Thanks for the video

Tell me about difference between Dol starter and soft starter
DOL max 3KW motor,, Soft starter bigger like electric pump for Hydrant
connections are same but .Dol is lower Kw soft starter MAX 34A / 18kw.
Another great video but cannot read the soft starter terminal numbers. Please provide the model or a link to its specification so we can read up on the theory of this specific device.

And a soft starter worck only in star?
No. It will work with motor conected to star or delta, depending on the rated voltage of softstarter and motor.Referring to your previous questions, you do not use star-delta starter and softstarter in the same circuit. Booth will limit the inrush current but soft starter is more expensive.
AND IS POSSIBLE A SOFT STARTER MAKE THE MOTOR WORCK IN DELTA?

Ooooh scuze me.I thought is a soft starter for a star delta allimentation.Because i want to buy a soft starter for 7500w motor,who start to “violent” and absorbe too manys ampers when start.i’m sorry
Am dat de postarea ta, asta... si eram curios daca ti-a iesit sa procuri si sa faci schema de pornire cu un softstarter a motorului de 7,5kw. Aproape ca nu indraznesc sa te intreb pentru ce aplicatie vrei sa folosesti pornirea asta ... Eu de un an de zile am colectionat si primit tot felul de componente si voiam sa pun cap la cap o pornire similara pentru un gater (cu pinza) - pentru un contzaran d'al meu - care porneste la fel, zmucit si virf de curent. Pornirea stea-delta era o optiune mai simpla/ieftina dar trebuiau mai multe componente si releele de putere mai mare nu sint nici ele prea ieftine... noroc ca pe aici (NL) mai gasesti "gunoi" de calitate. In plus nu e cool!
Nefiind electrician, imi iese totusi sa montez o placa si sa pun toate cap la cap ...cred ca problema o sa fie de tunning dupa montaj. Sint reglaje pe breaker si pe softstarter... tu ai mai montat echipament industrial in genul asta? Nu vreau sa-ti pierd timpul deci orice ne-raspuns e ok. Altfel poti sa-mi dai un semn la vale pe nliviustan@gmail.com...
