CS2 inspect gives me a !g code and it says that's an unknown command when put into console.

Because you must put it in in-game chat. The console part was shown because this is how you connect to the server, where there is this custom !gen command which works on these servers.

There really needs to be a way to hide all players, Ohne's inspect server is still leagues ahead because of that (and because you can just paste inspect links to any skins in chat)

you can do all of that here too the website is just a plus to make it easier…forgot to mention that typing !hide in chat hides other players and nametags for these too
