  • This Double Crochet Scrunchie Crochet tutorial will teach you how to make a scrunchy using the most basic stitches. All you need is scrap yarn and a rubber band. This tutorial was filmed with a web cam way back in the day. But I hope it can still be a good learning tool for you.

    I was confused about the slip knot because I saw crochet videos doing them different ways. Then I came to the conclusion if you can pull the end that is not attached to the yarn ball, then the whole project will become undone. But if it's knotted, and doesn't move, then it will not become undone; and the yarn coming from the ball should move to be able to make the stitches. I still appreciate your videos. I am subscribed and watch them all.

      enaya mohamed Get yourself a Tapestry needle and leave yourself a long tail when you end your work, use the needle to hide your yarn in the same color yarn. Cut your yarn close to the project when your done.

    do you have any videos about how to add a colour to a scar or blanket (starting from the end of it) because, when i do it, i just have all these ugly knots :(

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  Před 7 lety

      I always use the method of exchanging my yarn like I show here. czcams.com/video/5xDahjNNLug/video.htmlm45s then I work the tail in as I do the next row, OR you can use a tapestry needle to hide your ends when you're done.

    I would use these scrungies, but if you pull on them to hard they bust. So this will not work for me. How about elastic rubber bands like they use for bead projects?!?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  Před 8 lety

      These won't last forever, but they don't take much yarn and are fun to make new ones. If the rubber bands used in bead projects works for you, then go for it :D
