Game of my childhood. Just speedran Island 5 out of curiosity how fast I could do it, then wanted to see if anyone else did it - turns out you guys do the entire game at once! Maybe with enough practice I'll try that out too.
Will definitely take you a few runs to get the hang of it, probably the most fun/pain trying to learn
@@stickmanprime7865 You could have just rushed him with your creature and archers on the first Japanese land and saved time.
@@incognitobandito244 Its harder done that said, tried a few times and got wrecked everytime
@@stickmanprime7865 I can agree actually. I did reset the land once because their archers targeted my archers before my creature, but every time I've done it from then was a success.
@@incognitobandito244 might try to sometime, def done with black and white 2 until someone beats my speed run or I feel like modding it
CZcams decided to remove all my download tutorials so I will be working on a new one within the next few days. It’ll be a lot safer and easier for everyone trying to do it. Thanks everyone again for all the support of the years!
Edit: CZcams won’t allow me to upload a video on how to download this since it’s technically considered “pirating”. I’m considering taking up speedrunning Black and White 2 again and yes that also includes battle of the gods. Anyway thank you all for the support over the years it means so much ❤

Awesome for a bit of nostalgia! My old pc's framerate would drop to unplayable levels after a certain point so great to see it played through.
Sorry to hear that, I know there is a discord for the Black and White community so I would check there if you want a fix.

Graphics engine for this one was a beast.
I noticed you can save during the cutscene for leaving islands via portal, and it leads to interesting results. Could a save be preformed after the check that clears your and creature's hand to bring items between islands?
Love this game, great to watch. They really should have doubled, if not tripled, the impressiveness requirements to win lands, lol.

I've cleared this game over 10 times as a kid, but I've never thought of an attack as fast as the final chapter.
You should watch my first speedrun where I figured it out. My reaction is priceless lmao
Would be great if you did speedruns for the Expansion pass (BOTG)
BOTG would be a hard speedrun to do, I will def look into it in the near future. I just dont have the time to master and test out all the ways I can exploit/look for easy ways to beat the lands. The AI for BOTG will fuck you over at any chance it gets so it itll take awhile to get everything down but I look forward to testing all the strats.
That Japanese Tony the Tiger-creature seems very confused..he just runs around the whole land never doing anything of use except bettering his cardio

Great watch! I'd love to see this game get more competition though. Would be great to see what kinds of glitches and stuff people discover for any% runs. Anyway, have you been running this game since this run?
I have not, I played a lot of BW2 Redux but there is no way for me to speedrun that. Redux really is like playing a new game, a lot more balanced.
Black and white 1 and 2 is the most amazing game i love them so much, i really wish they were made more proper cuz the gameplay it has is sooo cool.

Mayhaps in this case purrr, I tried speedrunning Redux but you they nerfed the impressive areas so it takes like an hour per land to actually beat it doing good. There are some lands where I think its possible to cheese using Army tho
Why do you pickup trees, store them, then pickup the wood? Is that faster?

Why are you not using burning tree to take down troops and buildings? Is it slower than the showed strategy? I tried to use it on first Japanese land with archers, and it definitely faster than your time. Not sure about others lands, but in my head, you could at least burn troops on the walls, while creature is taking down others.
I honestly just don’t really like doing it, I’m already cheasing the game enough XD

Or is there another reason why you're not using the burning tree glitch? Looks like it could be a good way to save some time on the offensive lands to be able to clear out troops before you get there
This run yeah, ive used burning tree a few times just wanted to see what it was like without it

How does thecreature grow so big? Mine always stays small
@@yuliang5900 I was using a “cracked” version of the game, it just made it so creature started at max size/strength. Don’t remember the site, it normally just takes a really long time for creature to grow
An hour and a half in and I’m still in the first island 😮😮😮

Love this game, one thing i wish id figured out was how to increase the impressiveness requirements for each land, so that more fighting could be done, it was always way too easy to win by building too much
I know what you mean, it is possible to change the values of each buildings/ increase birth rate or even 1 man = 1 troop in the files but I haven't ever seemed to figure out what exact line of code for that.
@@stickmanprime7865 so i was scouring the files, and i had an idea, you can change the resource costs of buildings, and i think on that stat sheet. you can lower the impressiveness of buildings in this file. I SHALL HAVE A LOOK

Even after I cleared the 2nd round, my animal's level was reset. I want to proceed with the next episode as it is, but how is the creature growing from Northland?
It’s a common bug where either the creature will stay at 100% growth but lose all the shit you train him or vis versa. I’m sure there’s a fix for it somewhere tho

There are a few guides, I have one myself but its really outdated.
The only thing I could speedrun in B&W2 is losing
I’m pretty sure the only land you can really “lose” is land 9 otherwise the AI will never take settlements
