The smile @ 2:59...you can tell this man loves his craft, and what an amazing artist he is!!! Over the last 8 or 9 years of following this man I have yet to hear anything so unique and well composed. He is on my bucket list of artists to see live...we need more tour dates HAYWYRE!!!
I've seen him live in Portland OR and it was amamamamzzizizizngngngng. highly recommend checking him out live if you ever get the chance.

@@foxxrider250r VIsited the UK just to see him live, the entire weekend was great in its own right. This was during the "In Parallel" tour with him and Koan Sound both performing. They were both amazing, the entire thing was a blast from start to finish. Got to say hi to Martin after the show too, super down to earth guy.

God Haywyre is just so fucking good. Just the fact he managed to get nominated in the Grammy awards despite those awards being more or less a glorified popularity contest with a not so popular genre(s) of music shows how far above the rest he is.

Love it. Haywyre intuitively knows how to leave the beats out rather than putting them in. And the fills are timed beautifully in the main section. We need to give this guy as much confidence because he will end up coming up with a new beat/genre very soon!

I discovered Haywyre when I was in 5th grade, I didn't even care about music before that. Back then all I knew was the pop music of the time which I didn't like and the older music my parents listened to which I was mostly indifferent about (I've since found a lot of music in both of those categories that I really enjoy now tho). I had never heard anything like Haywyre before, and for a few years he was all I listened to lol. I'm 21 now, I love music and started making my own songs. I'm not the best at it but I dream of being on his level some day and being able to inspire others to become musicians like Haywyre did for me:)
I'm literally right there with u, I'm 22 now and I'm doing the same :) It being 5th grade is so real tho, I remember when I heard back and forth on a glitchhop compilation on CZcams. I loved it so much and it was so hard to find the song bc it was actually mislabeled in the video. Had work to find out who made the song, but I've been a fan of haywyre and edm in general since
@@themonsterodub Back and Forth was my first too! Found it in the Monstercat glitch hop playlist, and then I found the voyage, which blew 11-year-old me's mind. I had known about electronic music before discovering Haywyre but wasn't crazy about it cause I thought it all sounded the same. I didn't know it could be so creative and jazzy. Still one of my favorite albums. I get so much nostalgia from listening to his old stuff
