After outscoring Puerto Rico, 67-31, in the 2nd half, USA won their first exhibition game, 117-74. Anthony Edwards (15 points, 4 assists) and Cameron Johnson (15 points, 6 rebounds) combined for 30 points for USA, while Tyrese Haliburton added 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 12 assists in the victory. Tremont Waters led all scorers with 17 points for Puerto Rico.
This U.S. team has tremendous energy and are very unselfish. Love to see this!

Often times Tyrese's affect on the game can be overlooked on the stat sheet. I think he did an amazing job setting up his teammates for success the entire game and brings a refreshing passion to team USA.

His tempo, vision, defense, and passing is so underrated. Brunson JJJ and ant and reaves getting the headlines but haliburton to me is the heart of the second unit.
As a Puerto Rican, I'm proud that they even get to compete in stuff like this because now the world doesn't even honor our flag like they used to. I gotta say though I was born in the US, so this game is a win win for me no matter who woulda won....glad to see my boy AR15 playing for the US tho, dude deserves all the respect and praise he's been getting.

Banchero and Haliburton really stood out to me. Haliburton, I think everyone's already talking about how good he was in terms of playmaking, really showed why he's on another level. Banchero was also a blur, just felt like he was constantly in good position to use his athletic gifts to make an impact play.
