I believe the best music and art comes from a place of meditation and presence.
Exactly this philosophy gave birth to this album.
It's a collection of compositions and improvisations,
recorded over several months, to be shared with you separately.
The result is a very imperfect album, but nevertheless emotive.
Expecting perfection often paralyzes action,
as it happened with my first EP "Bound to the Wind",
which I procrastinated on for months.
This new approach suits me much better!

Dear Oles...my name is Daryl and I only just discovered your album, or I would have commented before now...what a joy! Your skill that The Creator has opened up to you, that you've honed in diligence, resonates in strength and love..
And that is what I feel compelled to speak to you about... on "resonance"... which, a basic definition is "a state of falling acutely back into vibrational balance with".
You see, this is what the True Christ was exemplifying when He promoted "the Way"...which, as I understand it is primarily "the Way in which to live in harmony or "resonance" with Father/Mother God or Source.
You see, as soon as I heard the first portion of your album, I sensed the spiritual nature in your music... because this gift you've given all of us is pure...and not weighted down with words crafted in mal-intent and sorcery. The light from your melodious crafting truly "resonates" for those seeking a higher path... those on "the Way".

Wow i play native American flute and use it for meditation.
I got myself a zepher handpan 6 months ago and what a wonderful journey we're having together.
Youre music is absolutely amazing fills the soul with contentment . Think ive got a long way to go but as you no its not about the destination its all about the journey . X

You popped up on my feed, and I was thinking, why so long to reach me! I love handpan music, and the first artist I heard 2 years ago was Yatao, and I was hooked. Since then I've discovered many different artists, and now you too. You present yet another style, rhythm, dynamism, melody and effect of the instrument. Its the same basic instrument but its partly percussion and partly melodic in the treble region, and therefore you can play so much variety with just 1 pan and 2 hands... I'm very happy to have been touched by your music. Thank you for your passion, work and sharing. Lots of Love and Blessings, and looking forward to hear lots of wonderful music from you!

thginking of getting one but its hard to know what scale to go for, once youve picked you are committed! which scale is this?
Mostly F equinox, but I play on two instruments in some compositions with addition of some notes which make the scale a complete F minor. Good luck on your choice!
I had the same problem when I was deciding on what scale to get, but after looking at the handpan music on CZcams that I liked, I ended up going for the Annaziska, also known as Kurd or Aeolian scale. It appears that thai is a pretty popular scale. This mean as soon as you get you handpan you have plenty of great music pieces you can learn from youtube and it will sound the same.... and of course everyone aspire to play Sam Maher's 'New York" piece played on this scale.
