It would make sense for them to feel some sort of depression or frustration in their abilities out of their bodies prime at least for older fighters anyway, especially pushing their bodies to the extent an elite level martial artists need to. And Anderson was 31 when he became champion which isn’t your late thirties. He had many fights against guys at a ufc level or were former and future ufc fighters over in pride. He didn’t come in late by any means. Pride had a lot of top guys who were ranked above many ufc fighters and ufc champions in 2006 when Anderson came over.
This was the first fight Bisping really started showing improvement in his boxing and sitting down on his punches for more power. Wobbled Anderson multiple times and dropped him twice. Dude was still working hard, getting better and learning new things at 38 years old even with one eye.
I love watching cheaters get put in an uncomfortable position, Bisping has been fighting juicy rats most of his time in the UFC. I still see Silva as one of the greatest of all time, but this will always be a blip on his legacy. That and him continuing to fight and lose at his current age sadly.

You can't judge a fight based on who got more bloodied by its end. Bisping outstruck Silva in 4 out of 5 rounds and got a KD. Plus, he had controlled Silva on the ground for some time. By the scoring rules of mma Bisping clearly won.

I don’t understand why people act like silva took steroids to “cheat”. When your leg snap into 2 and then your muscles and tendons not healing properly or fast enough, steroids are used to help build the muscle back up. Silva still the GOAT
