      @MrIrishMC SSS very true, I would guess a lot of fighters find it hard becoming weathered. It would make sense for them to feel some sort of depression or frustration in their abilities out of their bodies prime at least for older fighters anyway, especially pushing their bodies to the extent an elite level martial artists need to.
      Never thought about it this way before, I have always seen it as cowardly and dangerous.

      @randallflagg3700 Před 3 lety +10

      @MrIrishMC SSS - Your "honest belief" is biased because he's one of your favorite fighters, but come on... look at his pictures from his very early MMA bouts, or if you can, the ones from the 2 Muay Thai fights that Anderson lost against Pelé.
      AS was *jacked* back then, it's fairly obvious Anderson is a career roided.
      I've followed the guy since his PRIDE days, when he was a Chute Boxe boy (I've always been a CT fanboy during their rivalry with BTT) was happy when he won the MW title, but his constant talk of "steroids are bad, mkay, I'm a traditional martial artist, thank you sensei Seagal, I'd never take steroids" attitude always rubbed me the wrong way, considering everyone who wasn't a nuthugger knew he was highly suspicious.
      Silva also kept saying that he could make 170 easy and would challenge GSP at WW, but never did... and as soon as GSP retires, Silva proposes to move down to 170 to fight friggin Conor lol
      Respect to the dude, but come on.
      He's 1-8 in his last 9, his only win being a very controversial decision over Derek Brunson.

      People love to push the made up theory he only used them cos his leg broke, and he was clean the entire time before even though all the people that say that accept that that era was the steroid era. So Anderson was dominating steroid heads clean, then decided to get on steroids when USADA came in cos leg... Seriously?
      I think anyone truly being honest knows that's almost definitely not true.
