Ipoh is an “Old School” town..with pretty ladies and super handsome guy including me lmao.....most of us migrated to other cities and states to fulfill our dreams but will surely comeback to settle down..with cost of living which is relatively cheap, crumptious food awesome weather and less hectic..

Ipoh ni aku tak minta banyak. Aku minta berhenti la tarah bukit kapur tu.. Aku duduk US 4 tahun aku balik sini terkejut wei..habis terus mereka tarah cukup2.. Memang kaw kaw kerajaan perak bagi.. Sayang wei. Itu yang buat nature ipoh cantik.. Kalau dekat lalu highway tu nampak dah bukit bukau, gua kapur tu semua.. Serius sayang bagi aku..

Ipoh is beautiful NOT because of the ugly skyscrapers that randomly placed in the city. The beautiful side of Ipoh can be found at Old town (pre war building) and limestone hill at outskirt area.
This one should be gone soon. watch?v=d6OQq6D4_7o Many great looking pre-war buildings have recently been aggressively demolished, gentrified beyond recognition, or consumed by nature. Bottom line is, if you still have the chance, seize it and capture it with your camera.

Sebab ipoh terletak dekat dengan banjaran gunung titiwangsa, sebab tu banyak kabus, berbanding dgn alur star terletak atas tanah pamah, panas sebab jauh drpd banjaran gunung dan tak banyak hutan rimba tp dikelilinggi sawah padi yg cantekkk2

I like Ipoh city, used to driving with friends from Singapore to Ipoh, then to Peneng. The TimSum of Ipoh is very nice with 100 of varieties to choose! The pricing is very reasonable. After having timsum in Ipoh, I do not take timsum in Singapore nowadays.
And the Singaporeans tout their food worldwide. Let them come to ipoh for the real thing!!!
There are so many places/cities in this world that one has never heard of and never knew one wanted to visit or even live in... Exploring these relatively obscure (by world standards) places would be truly awesome. Thank you SCM for contributing to boring everyday life with these wonderful drone videos. Stay safe!
I was born and raised in Ipoh but now live in Kuala Lumpur. Ipoh used to be the 2nd biggest city and at one point challenging KL as the major business hub of Malaysia. After the 80s due to the collapse of Tin prices, the city suffered a lot. I always feel sad over how the city never realized its full potential. The state government should have diversified its economy back in the 70s, but they were complacent and after the 80s Tin price collapse they are completely losing direction. They dont know how to realize Ipoh potential. It wasnt until 2010s that the city finally have some life and a lot of new investments coming to this city. Its a great place to live though. The cost of living is still considered cheap compared to KL or Penang and it is still quite a big city. I also have to give credits to the mayor because they did a good job at decorating the city. They planted a lot of trees and flowers all over the road. Its also a popular place for retirees.

Ipoh is the castle of DAP. All the while, the town are behind the central government development plan like Penang. Unlike Kuala Terregganu or Melaka where they got the chance to transform even the population is just half of Ipoh.

UTP bukan di Perak Tengah (Seri Iskandar).. Ianya di dalam daerah Kinta (Tronoh/Batu Gajah). Tapi memandangkan ia terlalu dekat dengan Seri Iskandar sebabtu orang ramai kata lokasinya di Seri Iskandar.

Minta baiki jalan2 diIpoh. Jalan yg bertampal yg tidak sempurna terlalu banyak. Maintain jalan yg baik secara automatik bandar akan nampak cantik dan tersusun. Satu lagi minta tukar sistem buang sampah kumpul setempat pastu petang baru lori sampah datang ambik tak berapa sesuai sbb sampah berselerak kena bahan dengan kucing atau anjing. Tu je la nak ckp.

Kelebihan yg ade di perak ni ialah penduduk cina nya yg mega ramai. Hampir 800k pnduduk cina. Perak negeri contoh terbaik msia dlm kebersihan alam sekitar. Mnjd negeri pling bersih d msia. Bagaimana perak mengurus air dgn baik. Xpernah blaku kekurangan sumber air. Mmg hebat. Kemajuan negeri perak hny siiiiiiikit je ketinggal belakang johor dan melaka dan n9.

Ipoh is a very nice city. Its 'chee Cheong fun' n beansprout chicken r very delicious. If possible, hope to visit there again after the pandemic
Yup more soy sos and chee cheong fan they put in sauce chili from my experiences anywhere around ipoh...all noodles.. the only best in ipoh is curry noodles but 2 flavour tastes such as sour like asam laksa but the curry smell not so strong, they even put peppermint in it, nice combination taste. so i called it curry asam..
After watching this video, I realise I might have missed quite a lot of interesting places when visiting Ipoh previously!

Ipoh tak boleh bina bangunan tinggi2 macam KL sebab sini antara tapak perlombongan terbesar suatu ketika dahulu especially Tambun. struktur tanah lombong ni lain skit.Kalau nak naik bangunan tinggi2 pon kena tambak tanah pastu tunggu bertahun-tahun barulah naik(bergantung kepada keadaan tanah dia). Aq duk tambun ni pon duk risau je Sunway Onsen 20 Tingkat tu bina.Insyalllah dah nak siap tu nanti pakat mari ok ehek.

@@jaasamore1188 apa definisi maju bagi hg? Ipoh ada je kemudahan asas, tk kurg sana sini.. Cuma tk perlu berlebih lebih sesuai status sebagai ibu negeri shja. Lagipun mmg Ipoh untung sbb dekat dengan negeri jiran yg lebih maju dri ipoh. Jadi apa masalahnya kalau ipoh hnya jadi ipoh yg sekarang?
@@imranalff1278 tu la hang.. sibuk bangga ngri lain maju bangunan skyscraper cantik ambil gmbo masuk dlm fb ig tapi ipoh biar tang tu ja.. bila org luar cakap ipoh trkebelakang hang boleh bangga mcm tu ka.. sempit betul pemikiran.. sampai bila kita nk tgok bandar2 utama ngri jiran jauh kedepan dan biarkan ibu ngri perak trus trkebelakng. Walhal ipoh status bndaraya antara senior dr bandaraya2 utama lain..

@@bendahara8284 bagi aku perlu kot sebahagian aset pelancongan urban juga selain gunung ganang.. tapi klu nk mcm kl mgkin tak trcapai tapi sekurangnya bngunan tggi pncakar langit stggi 50 ke 60 floor sekurangnya 8 ke 10 bngunan sudah mamadai sekurang nya ipoh tak la ktggalan sgt.. dr segi bngunan pencakar langit trtggal dr oenang dan KL.. ni tak g kl penang bngga dgn bngunan tggi2 di sana siap selfie bagai tapi ibu ngri sendiri biar trkebelang.. mcm tu ka .. bila org luar dok nyindir kita senyum ja atau salahkan pihak itu ini..

Ipoh is a nice place & ppl there are very humble & nice compare the city ppl are very different..its a good idea to retire in ipoh live a simple life with lots of fresh air..😂😂😂👍👍👍

The reason ipoh is being calles as Dewan bandaraya is due to population with 600k+ population..
