- This is acrylic on MDF that has been painted on before then gesso'd over.

This is stunning! The colors are perfect together. It's like a faerie's dream come true! Thank you for amazing me once again! Love you
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching :)
When it first came out of the strainer it reminded me of cotton candy!! Perfectly centered and pretty colors
Oh yes! I love that! Thanks Rose Marie.
Wow - that was the most perfectly centered strainer pour!! Loved it! Weird stuff when it had dried! Boo on those paints!! I’d keep it too! Kudos to you for kneeling on the floor too - I can’t get down and up like that anymore! 😢🙄
Thanks so much Debbie. I love it and will be keeping it :) Will just require more resin to cover the wrinkles ;)
Oh yes that's beautiful! 💖👏 Reminds me of peacock feathers 🦚
Lovely pour! I kinda love it with those ridges. It makes it different and unique 💖😍
I totally agree! Thank you :)
This a absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!
Very beautiful. Love it
Thank you Lea :)
That's beautiful Michelle, looks a little like a mandala. Xxx
Thank you Shirley that is what I was thinking.
Yes I thought that as well. Thank you Shirley
That looks so good, I love it!
Thank you Veronica :)
I actually love the texture. I think it gives it a unique aspect. Love these colors together. Wonder what it would look like with regular acrylic paint.
Yes it definitely, I like it too. Maybe will cut another round and try it with my normal paint :)
You are right about the color combo. That strainer is making such a beautiful design! My strainer wouldn't look great on a pour! LOL what is your flooring? It's pretty! Like woody. The dried result ridges add an interesting texture! It reminds me of a colorful sand dollar. I would definitely keep it!
Thanks so much Kaycy! 😊
My flooring is an old carpet that we put down to protect the floor from paint splatters.
Love it. It looks like a cell under a microscope
It does!! Thanks Marsha.
It's lovely 😍 looks like a jelly fish
Oh yes it does! Thank you Ruth.
Looks like a patio table for two! Sarah Mack did one this week also that did a textured lacing on top of her painting also. Something that has never happened before. Perhaps it’s an energetic vibration imprint?
Interesting it has been a full on week energetically on the planet!
I like the color combo and the design, I'm not sure I would keep it. I have never used resin, but maybe it would look different once the resin is on it? I do love your art and would never say it wasn't good, because I love all your work!! Thanks for sharing! Take care!!
Thank you Jeanne. I will post when it s resined to share the result.
So.... good.
Thank you Manju.
Lovely to see your video in my notifications this morning. This piece dried disappointingly, it was lovely at first when you poured it through the strainer. It is definitely the paint though rather than your technique as most of the paintings with this paint have dried less pretty. Maybe the maker of Rick's Mix can make some changes to the paint itself, maybe depends on other artists' findings with the paint also. I hope you caught some photos of the painting while it was still wet as that would make some awesome material.
Much gratitude my friend. Yes I did catch the photos of it wet and I am very pleased I did. :)
The final surface looks like my old lady skin which i find fascinating!
Oh how delicious! Thank you so much for watching Kathie.
I get those crackles all the time with ready made paint. I have a lot of it right now and don't know how to fix it.
I can’t figure out why it wrinkles. Such a gorgeous piece though. Paint can wrinkle when the surface dries before the paint under the surface. The cooling temp outside which can cause the extended period of tackiness could possibly cause the surface to wrinkle
I have had cracks before but wrinkles are new to me. What else is possible?
I am intrigued to know what causes the wrinkles too. Thanks for watching Karen.
Hang it up hight like over a door or even on the ceiling. That way people can't get close enough to see all of the ridges
Great idea! The centre of a chandelier maybe?
So pretty keep it it looks like tiedye
It does! Thanks for watching Sarah.
Just seen the end of it, so what do you do if you get cracks?
Great question, some people fill the cracks with a metallic paint. Others call it ruined. Up to you really :)
Hi darlin, did you cut out the MDF ? So have you tried Geods?
Hi Beth, I did not cut this one but I have cut others. If you are interested I made a video on how to cut a circle in this video ( czcams.com/video/HXIytSQAeVM/video.html ) and an oval in this video ( czcams.com/video/rLNGGI_3XEI/video.html )
I might try a heat gun on a tiny area to see what happens. But I would definitely keep it. It’s awesome
Thank you Karen :)
It looks like a flower, I want to see it outside! Yes, I'd keep it. I don't know why it wrinkled like that, possibly to much paint remaining.
Yes that is what I was wondering too. :)
Looks like puzzle pieces
I see what you mean :) Thank you for watching Karrin.
