Just one word, Awesome ! 👌
Thank you for this epic photos, wakes up good memories👍🏼
I was there in 2000, the landscape looks still the same but I don’t remember that there was a hotel, nor a boardwalk, not many photographers and very little restrictions.
Yes Epic is appropriate. Beautiful images. Well done.
Amazing video!!! These places offer a million of chances to take great photos 🔝👍
Oh that light, and those mountains . . . . .sheesh.
Wow what a trip, and soo many beautiful sceneries . 👏👏👏👏 nice company as well☺️
Hello Mads, this landscape is fabulous. But your film also proves that you are a great photographic artist. I enjoyed your great photo's and the explanation of the way you took them. Bert.
As always a brilliant video and the shots were, as you would say, epic. There was even the laugh out loud moment when you casually mentioned that James had gone off to photograph road signs. 😂
Great images. Can't wait to see James' road sign and trash can photos. 😜 Epic trip all around. Will check out the others. Carry on. 👍🥂
great shots
Finally in Chile my man! Cheers for that!
Beautiful Mads
amazing video and views top draw photograhy cant wait for the next adventure
We stayed in the Rio Serrano area too.. And what an epic place..loved this video.. Your expression in the beginning is the same as what we felt. It was a dream come true :)
I’ve see. Videos of this before and they always look other worldly.
Wow Nigel without a hat!😳 Wow what photos!
Just W O W! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
All my favorite photographers in one place... wow. Oh and the location isn't bad either ;-) Stunning photography! @19:35 just speechless.
Great job man...
Very Nice ...
“James went to take photos of road signs” 😂😂
He did! 😅
Epic views 👌👌👌👌
After watching your video and seeing such beautiful sights, I can hardly wait to see the Patagonia road signs taken by James...always the contrarian!
I had the pleasure of visiting that area in December it is a landscape photographers paradise unfortunately I didn't stay in the park so didn't get the best light shots but still got some good ones. Its quite a drive to get there and there are no petrol stations in the park either.
🙏😍🙏
Amazingly amazing photos, Mads! what a beauty. I got goosebumps just looking at the picturesque mountains! They truly lift my spirits. Which month you visited the place ?
February :)
Awesome light and shots Mads especially at the end with the reflections !!! Only you my friend would travel thousands of miles to capture dead trees 😂 It’s great to see you happy 😃 Best …..
Wonderful pics dear---come to Assam---India--a photographer from India--
Fortunately they went to Patagonia in February. In November the wind wind is twice as strong. I saw fish flying out if the water by the wind.
As always a very good video. Thanks a lot!
You didn't explain why the hike is so restrictive. I think people need to know that is for protecting nature from mass tourism.
Well, isn't that obvious ;)
Thanks!
EPIC. I didn't count but there were a lot of them.
Thanks so much for all the time, effort, enthusiasm and explanation you put into making your vids Mads. I think I can say that it is greatly appreciated by all your viewers 👍
PS: When you coming to see what Australia has to offer? 😉
One day, maybe ;) and thanks!
2026 Antartica Trip with Patagonia extension Tour? Might as well already down there.
I love this channel and think Mr Iversen is by far the best landscape photographer out there, so much so I subscribed to his course. However, one thing I don't totally understand is why he peppers his videos with digs against Mr Popsys. This time it was "taking photos of road signs" and in Iceland it was "taking photos of bins". One of the reasons I personally really like Mr Popysys' channel is that he includes human elements in his landscape photos. I understand that both Patagonia and Iceland are phenomenal places, but I am not sure I see the logic as to why one would necessarily favor a photo of a tree with a rock against dramatic mountains over a road and road sign against a dramatic mountain. Seems to me that both have value when done well. Anyway, THANK YOU Mr. Iversen for your great instruction and wonderful example photos. Your videos show the photography high bar we all hope to achieve some day (but never will). All the best.
I respect James' work immensely and I find it super interesting how he sees the world. We're just laughing at it and makes a bit of fun out of it ;)
Holy Moly! What an epic video! Thanks for taking me along! KABOOM!
When I see the images from Patagonia on the net, it seems to me that there is basically only this one area with these iconic peaks, but nothing else to photograph...
there is a whole 8 day trail at Torres del Paine that has a lot of photo potential, but it isnt that friendly for photographers, since you need a big bag with food, tent, etc
There is plenty to photograph in Patagonia. For Torres del Paine specifically the mountains are definitely the highlight, but if you want to do bigger hikes there is plenty of variation and other peaks to photograph.
You guys were lucky. Here in south America April to September. Otherwise huge humidity, giant masses of clouds and rain.
Such an amazing location, I am from the central part of Chile and my dream is to photograph Torres del Paine and travel through Carretera Austral. ❤
Mads, these stunningly rugged, almost otherworldly. How could you handle the shenanigans of Nigel and James?😂 That mountain at 4:03 forms a heart between the two peaks in the white rock formation outlined by the darker rocks. I wonder if it's granite vs. metamorphic rocks or basalt?
Stunning as always. I’m pretty new to photography and I’m curious how many photos you take and what percent you keep. Should I be moving around a lot trying to get as many compositions as possible, or spend an hour setting up the perfect shot?
Do what works for you. I think I'm one of the landscape photographers on CZcams who work the fastest. Some of the others prefer to go slower :)
Please try out 28-400 lens!
