In Invincible after Mark FINALLY deals with Angstrom Levy by breaking his only rule, he walks endlessly through a wasteland version of earth in another universe realizing that he just stranded himself there. As he tries to make himself feel better about what he just did, he just comes clean eventually and notes that he WANTED to Kill Angstrom, but what does that make him? Mark keeps walking and thinks to himself that in the end, Angstrom actually kind of wins their battle because now he’ll just starve and never see his family again, but as Mark sits alone on the sand pretty much resigning himself to this fate, a portal opens above him and THIS universes Guardians of the Globe come spilling out of it, and immediately Mark realizes that they’re all older and they look pretty bad, but they explain to him that in this universe they’ve been searching for him for 15 years, but Robot is going to send Mark back to his original universe and timeline because there’s A LOT that Mark needs to do to save his world and change history to prevent it from becoming like theirs. As he’s about to leave, Future Atom Eve runs up to Mark and tells her that She’s loved him for a long time but never said anything, but she wants him to go and be with the Atom Eve of his time to make up for the time that she lost, as Mark finally gets to go home.

Yes, but that itself creates another reality in which the past version of Mark is with the future versions. By going to another reality that exists, you create a separate reality that contains both.

They weren’t from the destroyed universe Mark was in… they were the actually guardians from Mark’s own universe but from the future. They explain that eventual mark finds a way back to their universe but it’s been a very long time and Mark’s mind is twisted from being alone for so long. To prevent this future from happening, they’ve travelled back in time to get mark back to their universe right away. This is also why eve tells mark about her love and for him to act on it.

A little correction, because mixing time travel and multi dimensional travel gets confusing very quickly.
.Mark starts in dimension A
.By the end of the fight, Mark is now in dimension B
.Mark wanders dimension B's Earth for 30 years and eventually goes feral.
.The guardians of Dimension A find Mark in Dimension B after looking for him for those thirty years, but as stated, find him too far gone.
.The guardians of dimension A then time travel back to when Mark first got to dimension B to send him back home.
Im no time travel expert so Im not sure what happens to older guardians' timeline. Maybe they cease to exist, maybe they created a branch in the timeline idk.

I like the whole multiverse concept, but the alternate timelines get confusing quickly.
Similar thing with DBZ and Future trunks, best way to explain that is the timelines in DBZ are 2 different rivers flowing and Trunks came from one river to the other (main timeline).

In the ORIGINAL original timeline, Trunks comes back after giving goku the heart virus medicine and dies (or gets absorbed, it was kinda vague) by cell, dooming that timeline to Majin buu, Dabura, and Babadi.
The "main" timeline which takes place in the show is where Trunks goes back in time to save Goku, and goes back AGAIN before Cell could kill him and help in the actual fight against the Androids.
Basically:
Timeline A: Trunks goes back in time but gets killed by cell when he comes back
Timeline B: The one the show takes place in
Timeline C: The one where Trunks goes back in time before Cell could kill him.
Time travel is fucking confusing.

Mark didnt go to the future here: after he left the Gaurdians of the globe from his universe went looking for him but it took them 20 years to develop the technology and search through all those dimensions. After 20 years they also invented time travel and found the universe where mark was lost, so they came back 20 years earlier to get him home shortly after he arrived.
Literally just watched episode 8 season 2 and looks like some things were changed but this sums up sorta kinda what happened

What’s sad is that I heard from another CZcams short that the eve of his timeline left him after only five years of him being an absent when she that timeline didn’t leave him for over 15 years. This shows that Eve from that timeline is more loyal. “But REMEMBER that’s just my opinion A FAN OPINION”
I kinda disagree, what made this Eve “loyal” wasn’t love but rather regret. She self loathed for years because she regretted never saying what she felt. The other Eve only started dating after 4 out of the 5 years Mark was gone. She had her time with him so she had no regrets and after a mourning period she decided to move on which is completely normal, as well as she had a kid and most people prefer a two parent house hold. But that’s just my opinion and I’m open to a civil discussion, and though I disagree I respect your opinion

@@Leroez09so this video is wrong, it's the same eve. That's his universe's guardians just 15 years in the future. They send him back to their shared universe but in his timeline. There's nothing saying this old eve isn't married or dating, just that her past self always regretted not telling mark she loved him.
Also there's a difference between "trapped in a different universe for 15 years always knowing he may find a way home"

Technically it was a different dimension. As that timeline moved faster than his timeline. So it would of been i divergent time with the minimum of Invincible's removal. If not more. But close enough that most of the rest was the same.
Its really cool that they added this from the comic. Theyve been staying pretty close to the comic, which is impressive considering how much gets changed in so many other franchises. 😊

I remember thinking that Mark gave up really easily here. Sure, this Earth looks apocalyptic, but that's just Earth. Fly out into space, see if the Galactic Coalition or whatever knows anything about interdimensional travel. Surely at least one other alien species has some idea of how it works.

It's not that universes gaurdians. It's his home universes gaurdians from their future. They found him durring their time, but Mark was really screwed up at that time. So they used one of the 4 time machines they had access to to go back in time and then visit that universe. A small but important detail.
That isn't The guardians of the alternate universe. That's the guardians of marks universe. They even said they had to track down the dimension he went to.

Lowkey wish that this had happened BEFORE robot got Rex’s body. Because then it would have been so much more confusing because not only does future Eve call him Rex but we would have been confused about more than just the name because we wouldn’t have seen what Robot looks like. Everyone would have thought he must be a clone or something or that Robot dies and Rex takes his place.

What has happened was, Mark and Levy traveled to several Universes that had such a different time from the original Universe, that his own Universe is now like several millenia in the future. As these GotG are his own

They're not from another universe, they are from the same universe as Mark but from the future, which is why they were able to send him back to the past in their universe, which is the same as his universe, otherwise they would've sent him somewhere else, you could arguably say that their timeline became a different one once they sent Mark back into their past, which is his present, but they are not from another Universe.
