It's Paik not Pike. Pike was in Dad's Army. If the story is true then it sounds like both have asked to leave. To be fair players have a short career so I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to lose a season or two in a lower league.
Whoever wants to stay or leave does , rebuild goes on with or without.
Only players I’m bothered about keeping are Bielik, Paik, Miyoshi, Buchanan and the promising u21/u18’s. Rest can leave cos they did nothing last season.
I think Bielik turned up the day Chris was appointed to tell him he wanted to leave. Sadly there is no loyalty in football these days. With the money the Yanks have I would be tempted to tell him he has to stay and if he doesnt like it he can go and help the groundsmen pick up leaves until his contract expires!
Can think of numerous players who should’ve been sacked/released last season based on their shit performances. Unfortunately we couldn’t cos of contracts. Same should apply now… not allowed to leave because of contracts
There's not 1 single player that would be a huge loss if they left as long as the money is right. And they can all be easily replaced if the recruitment is done properly, but I'm probably asking too much there though ain't I...... 😅
A few players should have been sacked straight after the game last season, that was a very poor side, the defence was shocking! they are very lucky to still have a job....yes we all know who they are....KRO
