Campaigner: '70% of people who give me knives are white'

- Farron Alex Paul joins Sky's Kay Burley in the studio to share what he is personally doing to tackle knife violence in the UK.
The anti-knife crime campaigner offers young people shop vouchers in exchange for weapons so they don't have to go to police.
There have been 39 people killed following stabbings in the UK since the beginning of 2019. In March so far, three 17-year-olds have been killed in London and three teenagers in Birmingham died in the space of 12 days in February.
Politicians and police in the UK are now coming up with solutions to tackle this knife crime epidemic.

Not to belittle the issue in anyway but realistically, knife crime is not one of the biggest problems the uk is facing. The media coverage is hugely excessive relative to the actual issue and other issues..

This interviewers preconceived idea of who he is and what he stands for overwhelmed her, which was why she was so inept at her job. Well done to him!

EMA was cut just before my time arrived, so I know it affected me negatively.
We have serious issues with our current government and all the cuts they have been making.
I don't think it was effective. Lots of youth would turn up for registration and then be out the door. There shouldn't be a financial incentive to pursue further education. It should be a personal desire. Apprenticeships are a better route than EMA.
