I was an EXO stan and then discovered A.C.E and man, this has got to be one of the most amazing group in Kpop. Just wait to get to their bsides: I feel so lucky, dessert, Atlantis, holiday, slow dive... You have songs you can dance to, songs you can cry with and songs that will make you feel happy 😭 I listen to their music every day it's just amazing
Nice... Same with me... I went from Exo to Ace and then continued to SF9 very talented groups...
Yesss I love ACE! Kings of aesthetics and fashion. You’ll probably notice in every video that their visuals are kind of insane. They definitely have their own unique flavour and they own it with pride. Cant wait for you to watch Undercover since it’s one of their most iconic eras and their debut Cactus since it’s my personal fav
I am so damn excited that you are checking out A.C.E, omg! They are one of my favs, and so so criminally underrated. Btw, songs like Favorite Boys/Goblin are more what they are known for - harder beats and an EDM influence. But I'm glad you noticed vocals too, because most people don't. They can all sing, and they have some amazing vocalists. Under Cover and Savage are both good ones to check out next, more in vein of Favorite Boys. But at some point, I highly suggest checking out any of their Mdromeda performances (on Patreon, since they can be blocked on YT) because their just so good live. Btw, the one you thought was Byeongkwan in Higher is actually Donghun (the silver haired guy you mentioned you noticed in that MV, had the shirt made out of zip ties). SO SO excited that you enjoyed them, looking forward to more!
The Live band versions of both of these songs they did on Mdromeda are out of this world good (these boys have outstanding vocals, truly underrated in the kpop space). I cannot recommend them enough (aswell as the other live band performances they've done i.e blackpink and twice covers).
The funniest thing of A.C.E is they're telling a story through their musics since they debut in 2017 and the story is still continuing...it also makes us so confused to figure out what's going on in every comeback🤧 everything A.C.E does are meaningful

I frigging love A.C.E (as you can probably tell from my pfp)! They are criminally underappreciated for their artistry & talent. And can you believe they sang Goblin live on music shows while doing THAT choreography?!! When they started out they used to go busking & did performances for their debut song Cactus in very short shorts which got them a lot of stick (their relay dance for this song is a sight to behold)!! But that is what I admire about them, they give zero f**ks!
Okay a few things YAY you reacted to A.C.E.
With the talent you saw can you believe they are very underrated? They have had no music show wins. Even tho our fandom Choice is small we give them as much as we can.
In the first mv Higher you pointed out Donghun but said it was BK ( short for Byeongkwan).
A.C.E stans for adventure calling emotions. They want their music to call to their fans to go on adventures. The fandom Choice means we chose them as they chose us.
They have a very weird start of their career they were all in different companies and were considered ace level trainees and were recruited my vocal coaches or other staff to join this start up company which is ran by a woman CEO and they all agreed. The CEO didn't want to call them trainees with their level of talent so called them aces and the name stuck. Since it was a small start up company they didn't have a lot of money so their practice room was small with no mirrors under a restaurant. So it was hard to practice dance but they started busking on the street to get better and kind of promote themselves before debut. They did a lot of covers and as you can tell excelled at dancing. They were the only group in the company till this year.
Their CEO lets them have a lot if freedom of expression which they use to their advantage. You can find videos of them busking on their youtube channel. They now have their own dance studio which is the old 1million studio. We were a proud fandom when that happened.
Sorry for the book but the are my Ult group and I love them so much.
Finally, Beat interactive company contracted with new 5 of singers. One of them is a very famous male singer in S.Korea. His name is Son Hoyoung. He was a member of a Korean legendary boy group 'GOD' in early 2ooo. And the other male group 'forestella' has joined with the company. It is a very famous crossover vocal group with 4 of popera singers. A.C.E does not only group in the company anymore and i am Soooooo much proud of my favorite boys!

A.C.E. are KINGS! I just love their (especially the latests) unique artistic concepts. They are so talented and I'm always excited to see what they'll do next, since they just keep getting better. I'm looking forward to your next reactions for this A.C.E. journey!
The overwhelming happiness I feel when people truly appreciate A.C.E and their hard work is insane. They have brought so much joy to my life so I love when I get to see people checking them out for the first time. Standing them is literally the best Choice I've ever made. 😉

In Higher, the story is about them being sirens/mermaids underwater. Most of the time they are supposed to be underwater and at the end when they are dancing in the white-ish outfits, they're finally above the water. The siren in the story is being tormented by the love they have for a human which cannot be fulfilled and they want to go "higher" as in above the water to be with that human. That's the basic gist but it's more complicated. LOL
In Favorite Boys (Goblin) the "goblin" being mentioned is a creature in Korean mythology called a Dokkaebi who are spirits that enjoy fighting and grant wishes among other things. There's different categories of them which are represented by the different A.C.E members.
I see others have already suggested their title tracks Undercover and Savage so I want to recommend their covers, particularly their covers of Somebody You Loved, Empty Space, and Youngblood. :) If you are a blackpink fan, they have also done covers for Playing with Fire, Stay, and How You Like That which is my favorite.

Ace is one of my fav groups (check out SAVAGE and UNDERCOVER + their dance practices)! Smashing gender boundaries? We love to see it 😌
Higher - the lyrics for this are so heartbreaking as they did the whole concept for this album as sirens, literal merman (check out the promo images the are STUNNING) but its about literally giving themselves up to turn into a bubble just to get closer to their love even if they are gone to rise from the sea to get closer its all linked to the real story of the little mermaid which is really quite traumatic, a bit disturbing and ultimately tragic. They call on the wind to their love with the echos as the bubbles that are all that are left of them reach the surface much like sirens call to those near the shore.
Goblin - based on the mythology of the Korean goblin which is a supernatural entity based on the spiritual possession of inanimate objects stained with human blood. Most kdrama and such have the goblin shown as a person who has many powers but some main traits carry through many groups with things like immortality, blue fire (this is also in stray kids Thunderous as they are also saying they are Goblins or Dokkaebi) interaction with humans both in trick and to aid. ACE incorporates traditional dress and modern, instrumental and also incorporate wrestling style moves into the dancing (goblins were said to be unbeatable wrestlers ad would challenge humans). The most popular thing in South Korea when you say Goblin will be the Kdrama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and its great with stellar cast and heartbreaking moments mixed with giggles. (Also has BTOB member Seungjae in it).
If you love ACE and they are so underrated try Cactus, Savage, take me Higher (debut), under cover, stand by you and down ft. grey. they ar great dancers too, they have done amazing covers so check out the covers of Love Poem, boy with a star, history, empty space, someone you loved. Honest i would keep rambling but I’m glad you liked so far, Donghyun has had to start his military enlistment and WOW is due to go in October so we will loose some members for a while, they still have yet to get their first win and choice really had hoped Goblin would do it, then higher but we keep pushing their great music till they do.
They are also quite famous for having performed their cactus dance choreo in like short shorts, hot pants practically and folks really went for them but they held strong and still perform in them at times to prove a point. They are big fanboys of vixx, svt and exo. I would also recommend VIXX who are on military hiatus for the most part at the moment but they are known as the Kings Of Concept. Their MV’s on and on, gr8u, voodoo doll (there is a safe version if you are sensitive to blood/gore), eternity, Error, Chained Up, Dynamite, Fantasy, The Closer, Milky Way, Shangri-la (this is their most visually stunning and use of props that left a lasting impression in both kpop gens to come as well as culture. They performed this for the president as well and have represented SK.), Scentist. They are most famous for dark and in depth concepts in their MVS and when you see you will get why.
Just a pick: Cactus is their debut, not Take Me Higher

i don't know which songs you're doing next but a nice combination would be their latest comeback *"Changer"* with one of their most iconic mvs *"Undercover"* because just like in this reaction, both songs have different vibes
ACE is one of my Ults and they are soooo underrated they are amazing! Their vocals, the artistry, the songs, the dancing and the visuals!!! You will fall in love because they are just that amazing!!!
I don't stan these guys, I just knew Goblin and I liked it, but I have to say higher is such a good song, I liked it as well. I've seen the cover they made of John Legend- All of me, and it's beautiful. I think i'm gonna watch them with you, so, looking forward to your next ACE reaction 😊
Get ready to be attacked by visuals, vocals, and intense dancing. They all sing so please check out their covers (they have a few English artists covers as well) also their debut song Cactus dance practice is a must see and two words for you-HOT PANTS!! Check out the relay of cactus for an amazing performance. I saw them live and it was one of my fav concerts by far
I'm so happy you like ACE 💗 Jun is my bias not that anyone asked, all the members are so crazy talented (and they fact they're actually my age definitely helped). But they're SUPER versatile, the rappers have amazing singing voices and they slay any style they try. Also their stylist goes OFF. A.C.E is really one of the best boy group in the industry with 5 all rounders. They all have stunning visuals, great vocalists, great dancers, amazing musics and also toke parts in their music productions. They did many cover songs even one of the original singer tweeted about it.

If your curious goblin was also based on a Korean mythology. So each of the members were a different goblin! As well as the dance has korean wrestling it in as well as a childern game, When bk throws the dice. I would suggest watching their teasers of goblin on their channel. This whole comeback was pure gold. Higher was also based on a Korean mythology about the little mermaid.

The jacket that Donghun was wearing in Higher was made with zip ties and was part of a fashion line/social commentary on the environment and all the plastics being dumped in the ocean. I highly recommend Undercover, Savage and their lates song Changer which is their last song as a whole group because Donghun (the one with long light hair) and Wow are currently enlisted so sadly their won’t be ot5 A.C.E in a while but they left a lot of amazing songs and will probably release more with the remaining members not sure yet. I do hope you continue looking at their other songs cause they are truly amazing and deserve the world 💕

I feel like Donghun's zip-tie spiky outfit is a nod to their cactus debut theme. You'll see a cactus in some of their other performances("5tarCompletion" done live has a cactus in the background, for example.) In one of the clips of "Higher," when a couple of them are inside a botanical garden structure, there are cacti in the background with other plants. What drew me first to A.C.E was there many beautiful covers of songs, but then I progressed on to watch dance stages and other content and I fell even harder for them.

1st of all thank you for your reaction to A.C.E! it's nice seeing they recieve the deserved attention!:') and also I like your opinion about Higher and it's interesting because that's just how Higher is! as I've seen from other people, including myself, Higher is not a punch in the face type of track that get's you the second it starts, like other A.C.E tracks, but just like how it is romantic, a little sad and gradual telling their lover as sirens the desire of their hearts even the beat and adjustment of the song is in a way that it growth on you as you hear it or better say what they have to say. that's the beauty of this track and what makes it so special to me and the loveliest and most romantic thing about it is once it growed on you it stays in the heart and mind and the other times you play it that hesitation and reluctance you had the 1st time at the beggining you heard it completely disappears just like the process we find and cherish love:) sorry it became so long! thank you again! I truly love how they edit thiers mvs its so cool and different from other groups Ive seen it in past comebacks here and there from other groups as a concept (ex:7th sense NCT127) but them its consistent its clearly thier signature :)

Yes! A.C.E!!! If you get a chance, I highly recommend checking out the director's cut of the Goblin (Favorite Boys) MV. It's even better than the original, in my opinion. Can't wait to see more A.C.E reactions from you. They are true all-rounders and endlessly talented.
