To be honest I'm struggling with timing too because it is way harder here to find perfect shots than in Top Spin 4. Hard to describe it but if ball is very close to your player you need to hit it just right after the bounce. Sound of bouncing ball should be the first thing you need to pay attention to in order to find perfect timing. When ball is slow you have two options - wait for it or move forward and try to hit your shot with much more pace. To find perfect timing ball should be ideally on the height of your racket. So always try to track the movement of the ball and release your shot button just right before it make contact with your racket.
Its unrealistic how oponent serve is slow. Expecially in male tennis, serve is one of the most important shots. If game wanna be realistic then there should be more aces and erors when you try to return serve
I started playing career mode on legend recently and it is way harder there in my opinion - especially because you start with such a low stats and your first opponents in tournaments are already like 15 level.
gameplay looks good, motion is fluent, just with the graphic can't be described as decent even back in 2014
I'm sure the real Federer would enjoy watching this, Alcaraz not so much 🙂
Shame they didn't keep the animations clay flying up when players slide, footmarks, ball marks from TopSpin 4.

this game is absolutley terrible, its literally the one before with 2020 graphics wrapped over it. Please do not waste your money on this game.
