      Me in my mind:
Dude, you had it on a cutting board already, then you cut it on a glass plate, and transferred the fudge to a different plate, so you dirtied your cutting board for no reason, scratched up a glass plate, dulled your knife, AND you didn't serve the fudge on the glass plate, so you dirtied that up for no reason too!

I thought that too (use the cutting board). Also when cutting more even squares, I make the first cut through the middle with a knife run under hot water and then keep dividing that part until I get those cut. Then again start at the middle in the other direction and work out because it is easier to judge more even portions rather than starting at one far end and guessing to the other side. That's only for appearances since they will be just as delicious if squares are uneven.

This is possibly the most traditional brazilian sweet and it's called "brigadeiro". We usually make it when we are in a funk, when we have a party with a bunch of friends and want something fast to make or even to watch a movie. We also eat with a spoon directly from the pan (we are not like "yo don't double dip" or whatever when we are between close friends) and still hot. Just mix condensed milk, cocoa powder or any chocolate powder and butter, then mix for 5~10 minutes on low heat and it's ready to go. Grab your spoon and wreak havoc lol. A classic.

That were my thoughts too......When my bathroom was tiled with marble tiles, there were 4 tiles left ( 25 x 50 cm ). I glued pieces of felt to the bottom, ( in each corner and in the middle ), and now use them as cutting boards. Sometimes you can get leftover tiles from a tiler for a few cents. ( I gave two away and they were gladly accepted )......
Incidentally, this also works well with ceramic tiles. You can use it well to put hot pots on it. By the way, if you put the marble slap in the freezer overnight and then spread warm, liquid chocolate on it, you can scrape it into rolls with a spatula or you can create other things for your cakes. There are no limits to your imagination. Have fun baking.......

that's Brigadeiro, a Sweet dessert that we, in Brazil, have beem making since I can't tell how long 🤤
We doble the butter, and make less hard, than we roll on little bals covered with chocolate sprinkles.
The longer you cook, the most hard and less sweet It became. It is one of the first recipes every Brazilian lern how to do 😅

Question By adding more milk and less cooking time - could this be rolled out to make for the center of a layer cake??

@@sipzter Yes, you can make the recipe and add milk, but the best would be cream, you add it at the end, it will be less sweet and creamy. put the amount you want, according to the point you want. To fill a cake is a delight! Enjoy our brigadeiro a lot!! (the Brazilian recipe that any child knows how to make and loves to eat!)
