I Found PupperBunnies In Outer Wilds!

- Hello everyone! I found these the other day and couldnt help but share them with you all! I wish the devs had made it so you can see these normally. But luckily I found them anyway!

I’m more impressed the physics works where there’s actually an NPC blocking the light to make the shadow rather than the shadow being baked in to the image. Pretty cool.

Im sure it’s easier to use shadows casted by entities in the game rather than drawing the shadow in the image.
@@niBBunn I mean, they already had a shadow system build in since before the dlc, so why even bother?
Great discovery! Maybe they hid them like an easter egg, or maybe it has a deeper meaning, but who knows... Very interesting

Yeah, it would be weird to hide an easter egg without a way of seeing it without mods.
It reminds me of the prisoner mummy in the real world hidden inside the vault, it originally could only be seen with mods. But then it was patched to open the real world vault by unlocking the seals (like you showed in a video). Although it still requires to use datamined codes (or brute force them) to be able to see the mummy

Everyone's theorizing about why they hid the bunnies, but it's probably just an accident. I mean, where else would you put the owlk's shadow but at the edge of the frame?
We also see this reel played in the artifact reel as owlks watch it. It is also mysteriously pupperbunny free.
I guess that this animation was made first and/or before the slide reels and they've decided not to put any animals in these since maybe they didn't want to add them in simulation as well. Overall I think they are very cool and maybe someone will make a mod that adds them ingame
There are still dragonflies in that same reel. Plus we just sort of know they dont add extra stuff like that. Just seems strange for them to take t out or hide them.
@@TheLoreExplorer dragonflies are a small thing, if you would be a new player and saw dragonflies on animation you wouldn't expect them to be important, on the other hand those bunnies look interesting and some people would be disappointed on to have found them ingame. Idk it's just my guess
I like to think that they were a feature cut that the creators of the simulation skipped. Maybe they were planning to add them later, but forgot.
The simulation ambience has some howls in it, could be these animals

Awww! They’re so cute! Look a bit like corgis. I noticed them before and thought they were a type of goat thing
I think the reason for them being hidden is that they were supposed to be an easter egg, like the kitten in the fourth dream world.
You cant find them without mods
@@TheLoreExplorer Seems weird for them to remove it from the real reel, but to so cleverly hide them in the dream reel, if it wasn't meant to be found. I think they definitely intended for it to be found through mods.

I'm happy to see the PupperBunnies, but sad they went extinct when the Strangers built their ringworld. If only they brought some onto the Stranger and they continued to multiply with the inhabitants in the simulation and there'd be PupperBunnies to pet! A game is always better when you can pet the puppers!
hmmm. This is a decent question. Im not sure if they technically did go extinct. We technically have animals on our planet that the game doesnt show. It could be just as true for the stranger. The inhabitants would have to eat and have a balanced diet and all that. Theyd need animals and fish and plants and so on.

Finished the base game recently, and enjoy these videoes so much. While I won't have the patience for the expansion, this channel scratches that itch.
Feedback on the intro: It's good, but would be GREAT if you would sync up your "hello everyone...." with the video we're seeing. Basically re-record the intro, to make the in-game translation go a bit faster. That would raise the intro line to be perfect ON POINT.

Maybe they were a second phase of the semi aquatic descendants of the Hearthians that then turned into the hearthians just speculation as maybe 4 eyes were just a known trait of Hearthian life.
Evolutionary wise. Yeah. There would have been multiple phases between the four legged fish to the species we see
