The 2024 Buick Envision ST Conveys A Sportier Design With Big Tech Upgrades

- The #BuickEnvision has been blurring the lines between a mainstream and luxury brand for the past decade and when the 2nd generation #Envision was introduced in 2021, for 2024 #Buick has given its compact SUV offering a major facelift. This new #EnvisionST trim also brings more sportiest to the design while the inside borrows some impressive tech from Cadillac with its massive 30" curved OLED display. The latest #BucikEnvisionST should continue to be an appealing alternative to pricier luxury brands.

Happy Saturday everyone! We had a busy week last week and an even busier one next week. Stay tuned for lots of content in the next few days and we will also be posting a full First Look video on the redesigned 2025 Buick Enclave on 4/9 at 9am EST!
Nobody wants an “electrified option” 😂
I know it sounds crazy, but Buick is on a roll. I'm seeing the Envista EVERYWHERE, even on snob neighborhoods. This update to the Envision looks really good and I'm glad to see Buick playing well with color in the interior. It looks really upscale. I do wish the ST got an actual performance engine, a variant of GMs 2.7T or a powerbump for the 2.0 perhaps.
But this is a great update for styling and tech.
That’s not what “ST” means. The “ST” trim is mostly an appearance package. Any high performance Buick will be marked with the “GS” moniker.
@@G-Rated it is their "sport" variant, so a little more spice in the engine compartment would help.
Whoever designed this deserves a raise
Hear, hear!
The previous design was waayyyyyy better too much gloss balck on this and they took away the sporty metalic bumper cover at the rear the front is hideous
@@ashley5130 sorry, you're absolutely wrong
Damn Buick!! This thing looks so darn good! This is just the ST, i know that’s a higher trim level but it isn’t the fully loaded Avenir and I’m already in love with the interior. The exterior received the perfect tweaks and this thing is seriously going to turn heads. Sexiest Buick steering wheel design and overall interior layout I’ve ever seen hands down! Love the shape and execution of the displays too, I see where the Envista was going and expect a smaller version of this in the refresh. 🔥
If only it was a hybrid for that price..
Steering wheel looks stellar on this
That red interior is gorgeous. I have a 2023 Avenir and absolutely love it.
That was a good video, Sofyan. It looks like Buick is upping their game. Have a great weekend.
That thing looks good finally
Sofy, you do the best walk around in the whole industry. A+ 👍
You have a great walk around too Bradley
I’m considering this one fr. Massaging seats under 50k got me
I have to say, kudos kudos to you. I have been watching you from the beginning, and your videos have evolved into a class of its own. Great job on your production and content! :-}
Wow, I just discovered your channel. Your delivery is fantastic with your speed and yet, terrific enunciation. This car seems amazing and I've been looking for an actual 2024 and I had no idea Buick didn't make one, even though they don't say it on their website. Jeez. With that, you thought this would be coming out in the summer, but do you have a better date since you dropped this video? Thanks so much!
Call me crazy, but this car looks like a mini Lamborghini Urus 😱 More so with the Envista.
I agree!
Your crazy
😊
@@jbro507You're not squinting enough😝
Moee like a Kia
Pass whatever you're smoking
That exterior is great (just not in white), but that interior is gorgeous. Wow. Looks modern without looking like you are piloting a UFO. I especially love the deep red color.
Really liked how the second gen Envision originally looked but the updated front end doesn't work as well. Massive glow up inside though. Love how Buick has spiffed up the interior with interesting colors to break up the expanse of black and gray. Updated screens are well integrated too. Interior looks more interesting than the ones in the Lexus NX and Audi Q5.
I agree the precious Envision looked really nice, but I'm a fan of this too. Looks more chiseled.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this vehicle here
Winter, you're in Hamilton?
I'll want a mashup of the sporty ST on the outside and the luxury of the Avenir on the inside.
I have the 2022, for sure going for the 2024
I wish these were on the lots now. Very nice!
When I first saw this I thought it was a downgrade from the pre-refresh model, but this design is really growing on me. Looks good
Great video 👍👍looks like Porsche macan😀
Very impressive interior love the look and the color
Listen Buick trying get like kia (my opinion) but they was so hard on getting the younger buyers and I think changing and redoing everything even the brand. They hit a home run!! Good job Buick! Someone in the Buick team got it RIGHT!!!
Beautiful!
What !! What!! Did I hear that Head-up display is standard?
That’s what Buick told us! We were surprised as well. Lots of features for the money 😆
I love this car!
Straight Facts.🔥🔥🔥🔥
my mom used to have a 1993 Buick Regal coupe in white with burgundy interior. this is so nastalgic. i love the interior of the ST
Yay they got some actual ambient lighting on the passenger side! It’s not on the 21-23 models in that one area and every single person that bought one (including myself) thought the light was out. Most asked question of those model years 😂
This is one of the best values for what you get that I have seen in a vehicle in a long time. The only showstopper could be long-term reliability given the Encore's bad track record so we'll see.
I like the interior color
very nice!
so far my top 1 pick! 🔥
Nice car!
Why does the Buick website show an older version of this car on their 2024 'build' tool? The interior and especially the dash in this video is completely different. Is this a 2025 model?
Is that the new Enclave in the back ground 👀👀
I think this also competes with the Lincoln Corsair size & feature wise
Buick ATE this looks so good
Thanks
Shit Buick!! This actually looks good..Look at America stepping it up!
*China
@@Realwessharpe totally agree but your not buying this in china and Buick is an American company.
*China
*Chinese
*Unamerican
It's so derivative though
Not America , this originally designed and built for the Chinese market in China. A chunk of the money paid for these goes to the CCP, as does the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. Too bad the manufacturers refuse to make these in North America.
If only they could make a sedan. They used to be so good at it.
I Love it...
$40,000 for the ST isn’t bad, but they should’ve allowed for the tech package to apply at least ventilated seats for it…
Also, maybe they should offer hybrid options and an upgrade to 2.5L (like the Chinese version) and a sport back (like what VW does with the Atlas).
They missed a few things or could've done differently: 1. Add a middle headrest in the rear. 2. Include turn signals in the side mirrors. 3. Boost the horsepower to at least 250hp and increase torque. 4. They should've added GM's Super Cruise! 5. I would love a hybrid without a CVT, of course.
Very nice car.
Rebs don't drive SUVs
Is this Summit White or the Tri-frost?
I wish Buick had a a more full portfolio, but I do like what they have.
When is the 2025 Enclave coming out?
Our video of that model will post on 4/9 at 9am EST!
Nice little SUV buick bring A Sedan bring Sedan Again
Is this comparable to a Mazda cx5?
The piano black console is the only fault I can find with the console. Wouldn't mind if they let the car have the 250-60 hp that the motor can easily handle. It's a very pretty car though.
It’s nicer than the XT4! Trading in the ct5 for this
How’s the reliability on these?
According to Consumer Reports, it is recommended.
Buick has always had good reliability
Test drove the preferred model today. Cost was $39k and $44k with markup due to popularity. This version was $41 with a $5k markup, so $46k. Wouldn’t budge on markup
curious. did u walk away and get a call later wanting ur business or nothing??
@@jsundberg5542 No call, waited a couple weeks and found the car at another dealer discounted to $35,900. Wanted to let the 1st dealer know about it but I let it go.
Its a shame the reliability of the 2.0t ecotec. Looks great! But premature piston failure and oil burning is a no for me
I would love for this model or aleast the avenir to come with automatic folding mirrors to feel really luxurious. Not the manual fold mirrors
For the price... I think it's a decent value!
Which Chevrolet does this closest match to? Equinox?
Chevy doesn't have a direct competitor model closest is the blazer for the money but it's bigger and can option with a V6
The Trax
@@dennylafossTrax compares to Envista, not Envision. All these EN names start to sound alike.
First of all, congratulations hitting the 1M i ❤ all your videos but i have been out of the country 😂😂😂 im back and secondly Damn Buick!!!! Nice
GM should make a full size Buick SUV to go along with the Tahoe,Yukon, Escalade...I wonder why they never built one
Give me the 2.7l turbo, sheesh.
Looks nicer inside and out, but it's dismal powertrain makes it a big no. It's lazy that these sports trims from brands are just an appearance package. There should at least be a 275hp option. Then, that engine should be the standard one for the XT4.
I like it. But I like the second gen better. I don’t like when full line ups start looking exactly the same but different sizes. It’s a design cop out. That why I like that the Korean brands model look nothing alike. You can tell they are sibling but not twins.
This refresh of the Envision is amazing, and hopefully the 3rd Generation of the Envision is supposed to be a revamped design by 2026. Maybe or not so.
J-Rod , what it b like bruv?
@@DeputyDog-mh1yo Like a newer platform of the Buick Envision somehow. As an EV or BEUV(Battery Electric Utility Vehicle). For a 3rd Gen.
@@jonathanrodriguez6376 Right on Jonnie Rod 👍
GM is really trying hard. Give me some hybrids and I’ll consider.
*I was loving this SUV until I found out the shifter got moved to the steering wheel. That's a deal breaker for me on any car.*
You’d reject the entire car based on the 1-second way you would put it into Drive or Park?
@@greeneyesms *Yes.*
Idk if it’s just me or what, but this refresh makes the Envision look less premium vs the pre-refresh!
Same power output as the Jetta GLI not bad.
His buzzphrase is "styling language". Loves to pull it out..
rav4 prime xse review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with premium package please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great MCR! Too bad that interior color isn't offered in the Avenir trim--that color is gorgeous! I am glad I waited for this new MCR! It looks much better than the Lexus NX. The NX interior is very tech focused and lacks any sense of style. This new Envision interior looks very upscale. A top trim NX is $56K so with tax and license the cost is $60K. That's shocking. The Avenir works best for me.
50k+ for a buick... how's the longevity and warranty?
Buick is actually very reliable. The 3rd most reliable luxury brand from jd power
Only top trim is 50k. New Buick is excellent with reliability.
@00_UU if it's new you cant says it's reliable yet.
@@Bigfoothawk plenty of used 2021+ Envisions out there, no major issues. I had 2022 Envision as a loaner for two weeks, loved it.
Great review, but I suggest the outro music comes on a little later that way you’re not rushing through the video & the music is not louder and overpowering your voice.
Finally a car that can compete with KIA/Hyundai on looks hopefully it has a better drive terrain and engine, Comparing this to a Lexus is insane I am sure the reliability of the Lexus would destroy this thing
You already know there's a multi verse where gm kept pontiac instead of buick and McDonald's still had 1$ sweet tea 😢
GM I wish you would make those cars bigger
Why can’t you show the infotainment
bring back the lacrosse
👏👏👏
The piano gloss is ALREADY scratched and destroyed and it hasnt even come out yet.
i dont understand the need for buick, before they were a tier just below cadilliac.. but since buick and gm only sells suvs and trucks, this space is taken up by gmc
Envision is a much more pleasant crossover to drive vs the Terrain. Envision is also wider up front, more shoulder room for wider taller people.
They sell in China for some reason so GM keeps them around. It was also the reason why Buick stayed and Pontiac was killed off in 2009.
Big business in China. Thats enough a reason to keep selling them.
I like the garnet seats, but the pillars and roof need to be black/gray. I can’t stand the beige interiors
looks like a redesigned cx5 mazda
37k for a base is crazy
It’s crazy how cheap some of y’all are.
You're 10 years behind the times fella. Get used to it, yeah, get used to it.
Naveen drives an Oldsmobile
Are all the Buicks made in China?
Only this one on our market. Envista and Encore GX are made in Korea. Enclave is made in the US
Price too high need a drop of at least 5,000.00 or more
If this wasn't made in China I would actually be interested
Half the shit in your house made in China....😒
you wouldn't be interested in many cars then, most have lots of chinese parts even if full vehicle is assembled elsewhere
I don’t get this. My much beloved iPhone was made in China and that’s the same with most other phones. Buick will have the same quality standards there as they do in the US as does Apple, Google, etc.
Majority of the shit in your house made in China .....😒🙄
Brace yourselves the wumao are coming.
It's annoying how fragmented GM's line up is.
You're easily annoyed, obviously, yeah.
@gerry9306 they cut corners in the Chevy line up so they can make the Buick vehicles seem worth the upgrade.

How is this still surviving
I remember going to look for one a few months ago only 2 in stock at my local dealer someone is buying them
They're selling like hotcakes
The amount of small "SUVs" that don't have a rear quarter window in the cargo area is really appalling to me
I'm gonna stick to the old Envision
DO THE VINFAST truck
I don’t understand how somebody can buy a car built in China when they are the biggest threat to the security of the United States. It seems that there are more Americans here needing a job than in China couldn’t General Motors build a plant state of the art that could build this vehicle here and give Americans jobs. One of our family members was considering one, but now they’re not…
Sexy vehicle…interior classy
Standard AWD is a huge disappointment. Don’t need it, don’t want it. Otherwise, the Envision is the best value compact SUV on the market. Now its interior is even more upscale.
The Envista doesn’t offer AWD and is about $12k less expensive if you want to stay in the Buick family.
@@theredline Tested the Envista, the seats are too cheap and too flat. Envision is just a solid vehicle overall and punches much higher in refinement and comfort. I wish we still had Buick Regal Sportback available as they do in China.
Most of the segment is going that way. The CX-5, Venza(and the Venza's replacement, the Crown Signia), NX 350/350h, and recently the RDX all have standard AWD now. Frankly, it's about time. Modern AWD systems are very efficient and reliable, and in my opinion there is no point buying an SUV without it. There's also other benefits to AWD besides living in a snow state. Much better traction in general acceleration, better driving dynamics, more stability in heavy rain, and more confidence if you go off the path.
@@panzer_TZ we will agree to disagree. They all get AWD because people keep crying they need one when they don’t. I had AWD and FWD cars in Minnesota and Alaska. AWD was useless without winter tires. AWD also adds cost, weight, maintenance that I don’t need. These SUVs are actually lifted hatchbacks, they don’t need standard AWD for suburban commutes. If you live deep in the woods, then pickup truck will be a better option anyway.
@@panzer_TZ I agree! After having AWD, I would Never go back to go FWD!
sucks. all they did was change front end and tweeked inside and will be probably 5k to 10k more
