- Hi everyone. Today we are going to be looking at a tent I've been testing for the past 2 years. The Quechua 2-seconds easy pop-up tent by Decathlon. I bought this as a spacious 2-person tent for use in my base camp. This is not a lightweight backpacking tent like the Lanshan 1 or Naturehike Cloud up 1 (links to their reviews below). In this video I'll go through a few facts and figures and give you my honest opinion on this tent (I purchased this with my own money!). This tent is very unique and not like any other Pop-up tents you may have seen before.

I absolutely hate blackout tents, I like to wake up with natural light, that being said everyone is different, my son loves them and will use only blackout tents. Great detailed review, thanks.

At night time when you on light and sleep with your wife it will be visible from outside that's why black out is important especially designed for romantic couples 😊❤😉

Thanks, I’m glad you found the video useful. Sorry I didn’t show the repack. It’s very easy, just push the buttons on either side and gather the tent up. The tent bag is very large, so it doesn’t matter if your repack isn’t very neat. Greetings to you from Greece 😊👍🏼🏕️

Thank very much mate, I’m glad you found it useful 😊👍🏼 Yes sure, the ground sheet I used is 1.5 m x 2 m. It doesn’t actually cover the entire footprint (including vestibules), but protects the floor of the tent itself. I hope that helps. All the best, Jono 😊👍🏼
I like mine, since during kayak fishing tournaments I often go to bed while it is still light outside, since I have to get up and get to the boat ramp before 5 AM to launch. So, for me- it isn't the sun-up that I avoid- it is the last of the day light. I did have to reinsert a couple of the interior frame poles back into the fabric pockets, since they came out in two places. I fixed them by drilling a small hole through the fiberglass pole and ran a wire through it and the pocket fabric material to keep the poles from slipping out again.
Good work on fixing your tent. Was is not still under guarantee from Decathlon? The blackout is definitely very useful for sleeping when it’s still light. Glad you like the tent. All the best 😊👍🏼🏕️
It’s easier to erect if you pin the 4 corners, prior to pulling the erecting lines. Had no problems with rain or wind.

Hi, does anyone know if you can have a mosquito net for the door to help with ventilation as gets hot where i am!
This version only comes with inner doors where the upper half is mosquito netting I’m afraid. 🏕️
It is dark inside... Are you sure about rain or wind?
So far it’s been fine in light wind and rain. I haven’t been out in a heavy rainstorm…. They don’t happen often enough 😉
Great tent, but who wants to sit in the pitch black during the day if its raining?
Yes I take your point. You need a torch/lantern even in the middle of the day. That can be frustrating, especially if you are trying to find something in the tent. Its nice not to be woken up by the sun though. All the best ⛺👍🙂
Hi, I know the bedroom measurements of this tent but could you tell me the footprint size including side porch areas?
Apologies I don’t have the exact measurements with me. However, from memory, if the interior dimensions are 205 cm x 145 cm x 110 cm, I believe the footprint is 215 cm x 195 cm max (due to the two vestibules). I will confirm this as soon as possible though. 😊🏕️👍🏼

@@GreeklishOutdoors ah thanks. If you have it out if it’s not too much to ask could you check if it’s possible to fold it in half with the poles collapsed? With the fold on the door side. All the videos just show it being gathered on the middle to packing into the bag. Thanks again 👍
Due to the spider frame there’s only one way you can gather it up to pack it away. You can’t fold it I’m afraid
About 2 men?
Yes for two men it should be fine 👍🏼
