Hey man, thanks for the nice video, knowing the cone was really nice. One thing that would've improved the video and definitely helped with you calculations is seeing the base stat on the shield without your personal block skill modifier. You can that in game when you hover a shield (or a weapon for that matter) and hold Alt :) you're welcome
@@SwoleBenji yes, you did, but it still applies some modifier to it even at level one :D which kinda sets the new "base stat" obviously, if all characters have 14 block at the _lowest_, but technically the base block value for that shield is 13. Weird system!
Swole thank you for the guide, I appreciate it very much. I am also interested in a DPS guide and which weapons are better than the others, or best way to grind archery.
Just made it about 15 minutes ago before the servers went to crap. Probably have it out later today or tomorrow. I don't have a DPS guide because that'd require leveling all weapons to 41 then getting the "basic steel" stuff and testing them out. I dunno if the game is gonna last.

But I think this game is still in the similar “beta type” state that NW was in (didn’t new world have several closed alpha betas?) I guess this one is open alpha instead… I guess we’ll see what Pax Dei’s true launch population is when that day comes? I guess the real test of this game will be when it becomes “worth it” for botters… how will they respond… new world had too many bots for too long and too many bugs/misbalance for too long.

Diablo 2 had crasy math on the game systen, but it show it up (90%) on stats.

The Fact that he covered blocking like the Dev’s actually give a fuck about the combat in this game, shits a trash game.
Just looking out for solo players. To get to steel age you're sadly forced to grind mobs to get your first steel anvil.
