SSC CGL aspirants protesting at SSC headquarters in New Delhi, demanding to change the age cutoff from 1st August to 1st January. In this ground report, The Lallantop talked to the protesting SSC candidates. SSC released the notification for SSC CGL 2023 exam on 3rd April 2023. In this notification, SSC changed the age cutoff date from 1st January to 1st August. After this change, lakhs of candidates were overaged for this exam. Candidates protesting against this for the last 1 month. Watch the video to know about student's demands and why are they protesting.

Being an ssc aspirant...i can feel the pain of all my brothers and sisters...but as per track record of current govt they are not going to listen...it you try hard..you may be labelled as Failled Students, fake students and even anti national.... reply by Vote is necessary.

UPSC CAPF Assistant Commissioner Exam age crucial date is also 1 August. And they are calculating age by years and months.

@@theekshana4389 Generally, in SSC CGL notifications, the age reckoning date is 1st January but this time it is 1st August. So, the people who had the last attempt this time and had birthdays prior to August have crossed the age limit, now and are not eligible to sit in the exam. They are protesting to reconsider the age reckoning date and make it from January 1st. Although, the SSC can modify the age reckoning date from January to August, but they should give notice for it before the official notification which they didn't give.

It's only upon the direction from the government that such departure from normal course of eligibility test to such discriminatory rule is being done by ssc else such things does not happen in normal course without the knowledge of the government in such high stake examination.

UPSC dena hai lekin abhi tak padhai shuru nahi kiya, kyuki zimmedari se waqt nikaal hi nahi paa raha...aapke tarah sabhi log सुसज्जित और सुव्यवस्थित घराने mai paida nahi hota dost... 21 ki umr tak sabka graduation nahi ho pata dost. Ho bhi jata hai to tayari karne k liye support nahi mil paata dost. Khud mera 23 saal mein graduation hua tha, aur tab to kisi tarah thoda bahut kama kar ghar chalane ki soch raha tha, abhi to 1chhoti si naukri karke ghar chala raha hu... Agar aapki tarah hota to 12 chance dekar SSC nikaal chuka hota ya 5,10 chance mein UPSC nikaal chuka hota. Dost logo ko samajhne k liye unke jagah pe aakar dekhna hoga ya unke conditions ko sahi tareeke se jaanna hoga...mai aapse koi behes nahi karna chahta dost bas inki aankhon mein aansu dekh mere aankhon se bhi aansu nikal gaye isliye meine likh diya...

Visited 5-6 dr. And gone through physiotherapy for 6-7 months daily then my hands started to move with 50% efficency
