Sorry but it is way too complicated and too many expensive materials at least for me to attempt. I would guess for even an active crafter to reproduce. Congradulations on an amazing project to pass onto your family future generations. A really spectacular heirloom.

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Wow. You never cease to amaze! Such a beautiful carousel! That took a lot of vision, work, and patience! This is probably a silly question, and I hope you don't mind me asking. I'm trying to learn from you. Could you possibly make the deer using clay??? Could that potentially eliminate the gap between the 2 pieces by working extra clay between the gaps? Or would it not be durable enough made with clay? And thank you so much for your great tutorials!
Thank you very much, Terry! To answer your question, I would not use air dry clay, but the Hearty Soft Clay could work; you’d have to glue them together and the side seam would show which is why I used resin to have a seamless reindeer.
