What really pisses Dana off? Managers who know their clients worth. Fighters who speak out against draconian policies. Cut men who voice displeasure with new uniforms. Fighters who don't sign their life and likenesses over to Zuffa for life. Basically, Dana hates anything that puts money into someone else's pocket but his own.

The fighter pay is nowhere near on par with any major sport.

I remember in an interview 3 years ago, Dana said Randy Couture burned the last bridge between them when he blatantly lied on the phone about not signing up to be a coach on Bellator's short lived Fight Master recruiting show (TUF clone) with Greg Jackson, Frank Shamrock and Greg Warren when Dana asked him. Lo and behold, the day after that phone conversation, Couture is in the promo for Fight Master. That was supposedly the last time those 2 ever communicated. For the most part, he does stick to his word as a boss. He values integrity and loyalty above all else. I can respect that.

Dana did not lie about the sale of the UFC. When dealing with large companies and business deals you don't broadcast it as it could affect the deal.

people are pissed because he said it wasn't sold and now it looks like it may have been. You know what? He almost certainly had to sign a non disclosure statement during the selling process. So what a lot of people do in that case is skirt the truth. If he was in the process of selling, but the sale had not been completed, he could say in all honesty that no it wasn't sold. The problem with that type of statement is that it's misleading

I agree that business is not personal. An athlete should get paid based on output (putting people in seats) these athletes are not properly compensated. The excuse of “you would be worse off, if it weren’t for me” is a joke and a poor excuse. It’s simply just a line to continue to underpay.

To which his own, but I wouldn't want to be married to a guy like that. Nor, to be quite honest, think he's really present as a father. Yes, you can see that he TRULY loves his kids, but he puts business before family! If you're with your kids and you're on the phone? You're not really there 100%. My biggest goal in life is to be 1- Serve God (and I'm not talking about religion, but it's what I believe so be it). 2- a Great father 2- Everything else. And don't care if you believe me or not, it's working ever since my first job at 17 years old, owned my first company at 21, am 34 now. So anyway...just what I think.

not saying fighters arent underpaid I agree a lot of them are, but youre always going to have people complaining about pay. That doesnt mean much.
it's pretty common knowledge that they do get underplayed in comparison to other sports. UFC earns millions per fight and they pay these guys like 50k per fight sometimes more sometimes less depending on the fighter.
That is ridiculous. These guys are literally killing themselves and if the results dont show now they will in the near future. Brain is not meant to take any impact at all.
the slightest thrust of the brain causes brain damage. Theres been a ton of research done recently that reveals how delicate your brain is.
With that being said i think it's only fair to pay fighters decently. Everyone know dana is basically robbing these fighters and we know how much they get payed for the most part.
