Great to hear all your thoughts. Your reactions to the 2 characters in Shirley were priceless. I just have to accept that Charlotte is just not for me. I like Jane Eyre, but not as much as most!

I don't personally have any interest in the Bronte sisters' books, but I do enjoy listening to you share your thoughts on them. I think, if I did read it, I would've had the same issues you did with Villete.
