I moved like I was trying to be the Flash, and accidentally sent her flying! She was ok, but a little confused over what had just happened.

You're one of the few if ever, that has even mentioned trying to help them (the spirits) if at all possible. Because there have often been experiences, with helping a soul "cross over" that actually worked for a person who may have been shocked or saddened by their own death and their inability to "let go" or be at peace with what's happened to them, and seems to be, in every way, inhibiting them, and keeps them from being able to elevate.
I mean, could you imagine, being stuck and in a purgatory, and knowing, that in order to be free to go, you need someone to help free you, because you cannot do it yourself, and how would you go about communicating that to another living being anyway? Or how frustrated or hopeless you would feel or how many years would go by before you would just so happen to come across someone who knew how to loose you?
I've often wondered, if that's why certain ghost's "act up"? They arent evil evil, because there's no stench or freezing temperatures (cold spots that are drastic and your able to see your own breath condensation) And they're not doing any actual harm, besides just being unnerving. Once I'd seen it where some people had helped a spirit "go to the light" and it must have, because the people who lived in that home, claimed they'd not seen or heard anything paranormal since.
I definitely agree though, thus being my point, is that I think if people are going to go looking for these ghosts, they should at least try to help free them.

The "creature" at the bottom of the stairs is a cat, you can tell by the eyes. Cats can get into houses pretty easily - a friend came home from work one night to find a strange cat chilling in her house. Used to show up from time to time. She finally caught it slipping in through the tiniest crack in the basement wall.

They are not taunting the kids the guy's tone is actually serious and professional almost welcoming. TBH until last year, I was indifferent (at best) when it came to the paranormal ...then I had an earth shattering experience that I've yet come to terms with...ever since I've been what my husband calls semi-obsessed with haunting videos...maybe I want to feel like I'm not crazy? I still have nightmares about what happened to me at my work. My boss, who had worked there foe 18 years, never came back to work, and from what I heard has dived at neck breaking speed into religion ever since we experienced what we did. Every time I close my eyes I see it again.

@@chrisjako4732 it is a long story, I will try to put it into words, and do the memory justice. Really did change my life profoundly, especially in how I see the world now. Here goes:
I worked in a Masonic Home that covered roughly 60++ acres, and the original building was built in mid 1800s. There were several buildings on this property, and there were tunnels under ground that connected most of the original buildings that were used to move dead bodies during the tuberculosis and flu outbreaks. It s been an orphanage, a mental asylum, a hospital, and a tuberculosis ward over the years, and a nursing home for the past 25-30 years. There were 4 of us, me and 3 coworkers. The maintenance manager, his employee, myself (i was the environmental services director), and my boss. We were tasked with exploring the rooms/areas that branched off of these tunnels, (some of which had not been seen by human eyes in decades at least) and determine what needed cleared before this huge multi million dollar remodel happened. Found this set of doors, had rusted chains holding it shut, with an old lock, maintenence was there to gain access. We get in there, I notice first how cold it was, this is mid August, 90s temperature outside with 80% humidity and it felt below 60 in there. I assumed it was because we were underground . There were abnormally small bunk beds lining walls to left and right of door, straight ahead in between the beds was what I would describe as a sort of "bullpen" observation room, roughly 4×6'. The top 4 feet of the room was that thick glass with wire in it, there was an old wooden wheelchair on its side, and one of those massive, solid office desks, (desk probably weighed 100lbs minimum if forced to guess), and an old, heavy chair, ( solid steel base with rotted wooden chair). We walk a few feet in, and we all stopped at same time, that's how I knew we All felt the same thing, best I can describe it is like standing on a bass speaker, humming from high to low, could feel it in my bones, almost like humming, hair stood on ends, stomach did flips, noone said a word but we all stopped and looked at eachother. Mind you, this all lasted less than 2 minutes TOPS from going into room to leaving. As soon as we stopped and looked at eachother, all hell broke loose.
That desk levitated then flipped in MIDAIR, at same instance, desk chair flew into the wired glass with such force that it not only shattered the thick glass, but it bent the metal inside the glass and wedged in there, all the beds slid to middle of room... this all happened at once, in mere seconds!! We ran the hell out of there, like we were on fire! maintenence manager puked right outside the doors, and to this day I've never seen a grown man break like my boss did. He didn't return to work for weeks, and when he did return it was to quit to go on a sort of "sabbatical ", (his description, not mine). Last I heard, he's a minister now. I've got chills to this day even thinking about it. Had to edit a few times over small errors, its important to me to do my best to describe something that defies my life long logic... words seem inadequate.
