So that performance of My mind that Yebba did with sofar in 2016 was going to be yebbas breakout into the mainstream but literally 2 weeks after that performance her mum killed herself (October 2016) and Yebba kind of disappeared for a few years but she’s back with a vengeance the last year or so! I recommend reacting to her October sky’s live it’s about her mother and it centres around a memory that she has of her mother when she used to bring home bottle rockets for her and her brother (she was a science teacher)

As a bonus suggestion have you ever heard of Susan Tedeschi or Tedeschi Trucks band? INCREDIBLE! Midnight in Harlem (outside stadium is my fav version) and I Pity the Fool live in Boston. She grew up in the town next to me south of Boston. So sad that Yebba and Susan are not household names!!

Her mother was also the music director at the church they belonged to, as well as her father being a Pastor.
