I went through formal machinist school training, which seems like a lifetime ago, and since that time I have found that much of what is really done in an average shop is just practical and creative problem solving, just like what is being done on this video. The gear cutting and the boring of ID of the bearing race are perfect examples. Thanks for sharing.
The last one was the most useful to me, but I appreciate and respect all these ideas as a fellow machinist on engine components primarily its nice to learn these money and time saving ideas.
I watch a couple of machinists on CZcams, including 'Abom79', and I say you are one of the best. With just a simple idea and tools you solve big problems in machining and engineering. Thanks for sharing.

Wüsste nicht, warum ich nicht auf diese Lösungen verzichten KANN. Halb so reißerischen Titel und gut ist - aber SO sind's statt guter Herangehensarten eher Crap - warum Spanne ich die Bremsscheide nicht direkt im 3-Backen-Futter? Das spannt von sich aus zentrisch, sogar jeden Innendurchmesser der vorbei kommenden Bremsscheiben. Flex über den Führungen der Drehbank sehe ich auch eher kritisch - auch wird das Abrichten des Schleifstein mit der Flex die halbe Werkstatt versauen - auch möchtest Du diesen Staub auf KEINER Funktions-Oberfläche haben. So wirklich innovativ ist der Kram hier also weniger.
There is a good reason to use the center of the brake hub as that is the fit that attaches to the car. The rest of the brake hub usually has runout. If you knew anything at all about machine shop equipment then you should know that a three jaw chuck rarely runs out less than .010”. This guy actually has a good three jaw chuck compared to most. Second there is no way at all to dress a bench grinder wheel without a lot of dust. Unless you have a dust collector handy you just have to clean up good after. If you have watched many of this guys videos then you will notice he lives in Pakistan. Its a fucking desert. There is sand everywhere. Yet his machine is kept clean.

Mag sein (sogar sehr wahrscheinlich), daß dieser Kerl wesentlich mehr auf Seiner Maschine macht, als ich mir auch nur ausdenken kann - aber warum macht Er's dann nicht richtig? Klar: 10 Millionen Fliegen finde Scheiße gut - warum also nicht ...

I like regrinding the live center. I have a few that could use that treatment. Very imaginative machinist.
