    Yes! I Usually shoot my own footage which is perfect in the raw as far as color correction, etc! This time I shot a Halloween party indoors with one of my old flip cameras, so you can imagine how much I needed to relearn color correction again! The Auto Setting, (Especially your take on the subject) is just a amazing!

  • @TheRealest127

    Great video. I’m new to shooting music videos and I just know that I’m not going to get everything perfect my first few times. Things like ISO and White Balance might not be as good as I could have made them and so will this Auto color correction fix that and even allow me to tweak the corrected video further? I would greatly appreciate a reply.

    • @VideoRevealed

    Not understanding how this relates to SLog3 and the use of LUTs

  • @EricVaandering
    @EricVaandering Před 2 lety

    At 1:20 you say something about "black boxes". I thought you were saying there were two possibilities in Premiere, but now I think you were saying "That's not what Adobe did and here's why this is better". Agreed, this looks a lot like Auto in Lightroom except the intensity slider.

    • @VideoRevealed
      @VideoRevealed  Před 2 lety

      "Black Box" method means to create a change that's fixed and un-editable. This method is much better.

  • @alloneword154
    @alloneword154 Před 2 lety

    Would you use this before a lut?
    Also it would be nice to observe the scopes

    • @VideoRevealed
      @VideoRevealed  Před 2 lety +1

      I would only use a Technical LUT if the original footage was LOG. If not, then I'd use this first.

  • @jasonwalton6311
    @jasonwalton6311 Před 2 lety

    Hmmm, have you had a chance to try it on a flat image? I wonder what that would do. Like with this do I still need to put a Rec709 LUT on a video shot in S-LOG? Love this feature, it's been in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw for a while now. Thanks Colin!!!!

    • @VideoRevealed
      @VideoRevealed  Před 2 lety

      Flat (and Log) files are currently not supported.

    • @focuspulling
      @focuspulling Před 2 lety +1

      @@VideoRevealed It's a really gigantic omission from this video, that purports to be a thorough overview of the feature: the majority of everyone engaged in serious videomaking/filmmaking practice, smartly shoots in LOG. There's no acceptable alternative. So, declaring this feature totally incompatible, should be the video's first priority.
      Also, the caption to this video is completely inaccurate/misleading: "Auto Color replaces the White Balance Eyedropper in previous versions." Yet your own screen captures show the eyedropper right there under the Auto button. 99% of the time, I'll use the eyedropper instead of the Auto button, limiting the truly fuzzy "Sensei" A.I. to that one category of gambled guessing.

  • @kimberleywhytte

    Thank you again for the wonderful insights
    I was wondering if you could update the stabilizing since adobe claims it is better and faster in the 2022 version.
    Your latest post on stabilizing is 7 years old and the recent premiere updates claim it is different and better
    I also heard that "There are advanced methods that allow specific points to be selected to center the effect"
    I wonder if you come across such methods to be used as I still find it so slow
    ( does not even work at all in some clips longer than few seconds long)
    Some will say "why don't I get a more powerful processor/system"
    I'd say "why Adobe doesn't improve it good enough to work faster, needing less resources (just like in DaVinci stabilizer or Prodad Stabilizer") using my not so slow laptop ( Premiere Pro 2022.04
    Intel Core i7-1165G7 (11th Gen) 16GB Ram, 475 Gb, SSD, Laptop with 2GB external graphic card)
    appreciate any new ways /methods I should try in the meantime where adobe really improves it for better

    • @VideoRevealed
      @VideoRevealed  Před 2 lety

      I just checked with the engineers at Adobe and there have been zero updates to the features of Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro. They've improved performance and fixed bugs, but that's not something I can show in a tutorial.

      @davida190 Před 2 lety

      @VideoRevealed thanks very much for the reply ( fantastic info on your channel, Thankyou) but my graphics card doesn’t run the newer versions. When I bought the machine, having a card that enabled CUDA was paramount, they now decide not to support it.. I mean after the last two years of ‘pandemic’ not everyone has 2K sterling to buy new machines.
