Who is in bigger trouble - Germany or Argentina? 👇
Germany definitely
Germany lacks a striker and a good winger, drop the "fake back 3" or at least put Kimmich as the "fake LD" so the ball can be progressed better and he can do long passes to the big guy in front (Harvetz or Fuellkrug), maybe put musiala as an 8 to have proper wingers on each side for stretching the defense
Both I hope
Germany.
Germany, because of the TRAILBLAZER SPAIN
Rafa’s shirt is 🔥🔥🔥

Naivety, another name of arrogance
Flick got out managed. Germany put their defensive team out in the second half and Japan then went full offense. They played really well in the first half, and I feel if Fullkrug was with that starting lineup more of those goals would have gone in. Kai Haveritz was not aggressive enough, and he seems out of sorts playing at the 9.
Is that Adam Leventhal? I love Adam Leventhal. Hes Adam Leventhal.
Wow Tommy Fleetwood on the pod
That last line, 'the big European teams, not performing' feels a bit contrived. Spoiler alert: Argentina is not in Europe. Also, ya know, France, Spain, England... even the Netherlands pulled out solid wins. Agreed that Belgium didn't look great but they still managed a win against what must be said was a good looking Canadian team. Germany is the only European team to actually lose a match up to this point.
Englands not a big Team
@@Dartagnan88 even discounting historical failure Eng you've still got 2/3 'big teams' that did well, with only Ger stumbling. Now with Portugal doing what they did the statement looks even more silly.

Isn’t it cheaper to do rehab here?
It is a cruel disservice to Japan to suggest that Germany self-destructed. Yes, Die Mannschaft missed good opportunities and gave up a goal due to grave individual errors, but Japan were the better team for the final twenty minutes. They took their chances; something Germany failed to do. Japan must also be applauded for tactically altering the match via substitutions and a change of system. Overall, Germany probably controlled a greater portion of the game, but Japan demonstrated the attributes of a quality side: discipline, adaptability, execution.
Well said. That second goal was pure beauty. People are critical of Neuer, but that was a world class finish. Well played Japan!
Football happened simple.
The Germans played very well until the second half substitutions. The left back was terrible all game offensively and the substitutions did not improve the squad one bit. He should have gone first in my opinion. The Japanese played a great game. Way better than most Bundesliga teams can. Beautiful football match overall.
And Haverts was walking instead of pressing. He was very poor as well, especially defensively.
And the only really good chance for Germany scoring in the second half was Gundoghan's miss. Everything else was half chances.
Yes, we are not European. At least that's the plan.
