We take turns hiding and seeking as pokemon and players in this super awesome version of Hide and Seek using the Indigo Disk's synchronization feature.

Hmmmm I think I would do milcery because without outbreaks it can only be found in one area and it’s super small especially good at night
something white in the cold area, i would be sneaky like that
So some useful things to know with synchro mode:
L3(press down on left stick) lets you move faster.
ZR spawns the marill ball, of which you can have 1 and it only despawns when touching water or exiting synchro mode.
While stationary you can press B with some Pokémon to toggle between flight and ground movement.
While stationary you can also press X to perform one of The Pokémon’s idle animations, which is usually just looking around a little.
If your Pokémon cannot swim and enters water synchro mode ends, if your Pokémon looses an auto battle it also ends.

@@MysticKorea You could also try hiding next to one of the receptionists for the Elite Four members, as they often have at least one Pokemon hanging around them at the counter. I've seen someone pull off this particular stunt with an Illumise and not get found, even though people literally ran past them looking for them.
As soon as this whole synchro thing happened, I just knew someone would do it!

This was a great idea. Wish we could use syncro in the other parts of the game and not just the biodome
I agree. Hopefully they'll do it in the future, but who knows
The synchro machine is only a prototype as of now, so it may come back in a future game as the full version, with access to synchronise anywhere!

That is a really good idea... To be more fair, I think the person who is searching should also be using the Sync, because there you can't target any wild Pokémon so you will need to attack them to discover the truth... with this rule, the seeker also need to be smart in which pokemon to use.
The problem with hunting as a Pokemon is mostly related to speed and mobility. You can’t climb or fly which makes moving difficult and if the person is hiding in the water you need to have a water friendly Pokemon. Speed is also a major factor because each Pokemon has different movement speeds. Also, if you get attacked/injured by a wild Pokemon you get sent back to your body so it causes a lot of problems.
@@MysticKoreaactually you can "climb" and "fly" in synchro mode. Just need a Pokemon that can float then go near rock formations and start moving yourself back and forth until it finally gives way at a edge or so and makes you go up. I did it with Rayquaza from the center of the map into the canyon area and got it all the way to the top of the canyon just by digging it's face into the ground this way.
@@gta71000 Yup, that's why I said the seeker should be "smart" in what to Pokémon use, there is some Pokémon which can alternate to floating and walking. Also, it's just okay to put some extra rules like no can hide in the cliffs or stuff like that. But this is just my perception and sugestion, people are free to play whatever they want.
Hiding yourself in the leaves of the tree was a liiiiiittle bit unfair imo but still funny. Your choice to be pikipek already was brilliant, you didn’t have to camouflage yourself lol
I normally would not have hidden there, but I had 2 things working against me, I could not figure out how to land and I also had thrown out 2 marill balls and wasn't allowed to leave the area lol

I think there should've been 5 rounds, one for each of the four sections of the terrarium and the final round for the whole terrarium, each person gets a turn on being the seeker in every round
That's a cool idea. We definitely have a few more ideas for this. This was kind of our test round and it was really fun.
You could also try inviting multiple people so that there are multiple people hiding, but if people get found during a round, they turn into a Seeker. That way, it's the last person hiding who wins. This is how people like Purplecliffe & Shiny Catherine have done this sort of thing. Though in Purplecliffe's case, they also have a rule that if a hider spots the Seeker(s) they have to say "Jellybeans" within about 10 seconds as a hint that the Seeker(s) is within line of sight of that hider.
The scary thing about this is the unobtainable shiny mons that can pop up during these which you cannot get cause despasn/mon decides it's fainting time for it. So I recommend doing this when you have no shiny hunts planned.
This is the first thing that came to mind with the Synchro Machine. I've been wanting to do this ever since, but alas, I don't have friends who are willing to do so.

I personally would’ve gone to the disco ball in the sky, turn into a flying type pokemon, and fly into the biome that was chosen as the ultimate troll since I would be miles above the seeker. I would’ve either been a pikipek if I wanted to try hard or Rayquaza to assert dominance (if either one of you do that it’d be hilarious)
That would be a great way to do that, but unfortunately you can't use the synchro machine from on top the ball, I tried it wouldn't let me.

btw for those of you that wanted to know lapras is taller in scizor 2.5m for lapras to scizor 1.8m and lapras is also weights more then scizor lapras is 220kg (120 bp) to scizor 118 kg (100 bp)

As a suggestion, you could re-do this, but whoever is hiding _must_ hide as a Shiny. Or alternatively, they must hide as a Pokemon that is not native to Indigo Disk, such as Ralts or Charcadet.

Paldea: Umbreon in alfornada cavern
Kitikami: Applin in apple fields
Terrarium: Galarian Slowpoke in coastal biome
At the moment, you can only use it in the terarium, but I think we would all love to see it brought to the other maps
No it's only for the terarium. The npc and the item even says it only works there so there's 0 plans to allow it to work in kitakami and paldea. Though someone can and probably has found it's code and enabled it as a mod for these games. Though you will need a modded switch to even use it if so.
You can't use synchronize outside of the terrarium

While its a great idea, the only flaws i could see with it, is two things
1. Wild pokemon have reactions the player doesn't
2. You attack wild pokemon you touch, so hiding in one of the groups of 5 would be difficult.
For example the first thing i did once i got it, was be a litleo and hang out with a group of litleo and pyroar, i kept accidentally attacking them and being reset back to my character.
I guess this is technically a 3rd, but synchro mons cant be targeted with zr (if thats the correct button for it) so you can realistically just speed by stuff with it held until it doesn't hit.
You could also theoretically find a shiny and just have your general position blown. (If your the hider of course)

Me and a bunch of buddies had this same idea day one but we had slightly different rules: 5 minute hiding timer, everyone is in sync mode, if you're found you become a seeker too, if you get bodied by something you become a seeker if it's past the 5 minute hiding time, hints at 5, 10 and 15 minutes: 5 minutes is 1 Type of your mon, 10 is native to the terarium or not, 15 is a screenshot and when the screenshot is sent you're not allowed to move
Also we've basically vetoed Canyon area cause it sucks to try and hide in
Canyon is suuuuuper difficult for the seeker but isn’t too bad for the hider.
@MysticKorea sadly when we tried to do canyon there was only 2 options: A flying/floating mon, or a mon that can swim cause you can't get much else from the fly points
I somehow managed to crawl my way to chargestone Cavern as a Galvantula but then we basically decided chargestone should be it's own area cause it's a fricken maze in there
@@thesleepingsteelix2454 yeah the water monster can go pretty far. And there are so many different directions to go with the water Pokémon it’s definitely a map for them.

I want to do this with my little sis & her husband, but they think the games won’t let us see each other when playing different versions aka I have Scarlet & them with Violet.
I hope when they get to this DLC, we can try it to see if it works since last time was Area Zero. This is a great idea.
Area Zero doesn’t allow you to see each other regardless of game type unless you glitch it (possible but difficult). This 100% allows you to see players of other game types just like a regular union circle. Area Zero is just a special area.

@@Pandachu123 at first our idea was to start from central plaza but there are 2 biomes blocked from doing that so that’s why we started with rest areas. Would be too hard for the hider though if we restricted it to a small area of the biome
