- Join me in part three of this amazing Victorian transformation in the historical downtown of Traverse City. We are on the final stretch of completing the landscape. What an amazing process it has been. Join us as we show many updates and why we decided to use a lot of the plant choices to fit this epic victorian!

Thoughtful design. I live in a 20+ yr old house that had a well designed garden put in when it was built. Everyday I am grateful for the thought put into the choices of the plantings. Much has changed and we have had to cut down trees, and plant new areas but the under lying design keeps on giving. This will be a beautiful and functional garden for many years to come. Kudos to the owners, designers, contractors and trades for making this happen. Inspiration, knowledge and skill shows.

Absolutely spectacular and grande city property. It has all the bells and whistles. You guys never disappoint.
...this is one fabulous renovation and it all takes such time. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say, and it's so hard -- even as viewers -- to wait for the next facet/ segment. What I especially admire is keeping the plantings' integrity with the house's vintage. Just as the interior has been restored with new, modeled after the original, you are choosing old-time varieties but with new better-performing cultivars. 👌🤗🙌 (from a MD gardener, 6b 👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=)

Jack, as always it's great to see one of your videos and to see the progress being made at this property. One of the things I appreciate most about your designs is the 'fluid continuity' that you provide from front to back and side to side of your projects. I am an implementer by nature and so being able to see what's in your head/mind come to life is amazing to me. It's always good to see you back in MI and I look forward to further updates on this project.

My favorite style along with the smaller old English cottage style homes. But, there's nothing more beautiful to my eye than those stylings like the owners have on this property! I love how you have enhanced the beauty of this home with the plants and trees. Amazing!

As someone who has a lot of civil engineers in their family, that French drain system is impressive. Love the gardens, the copper eaves trough and downspouts, the beautiful well thought out fence. The entire project is so impressive and well thought out! Thank you for posting it’s progress. Really enjoyed! 🇨🇦

Holy Cow! Spectacular house, huge landscaping project, and a fascinating story. You're the man Jack!. I have been gardening for 50 years, and I would call this a very classic design. I don't want to quibble, but I hope parts of this place are allowed to evolve into a wild/native landscape. Everyone knows the environment has become more fragile. I don't want to be preachy, but we americans ought to rethink our attachment to manicured turf. I see the change happening. I just wish it would accelerate . Gorgeous design anyway.🙂🙂💯💚

At the beginning of the video Jack is standing at the corner with a small pie shaped garden behind him. I visited Traverse City about 8 years and seen this cool little idea. i came home and dug up.my little corner. After that a few corner popped up in the neighborhood. Hard to cut with the handi cap curb. Why not turn it into a nice little garden.
