LUL thats the first thing i noticed
QOTD: his W feels weird, it does too little damage or heals not enough…. only at higher ranks in W you really feel the healing, but the damage you dont feel at all…besides that, mundo is lots of fun to play! Sometimes i even build berserkers greaves if i dont get much value out of other boots, so with sunfire and titanics my dps is really high

great guide. you always manage to put so much useful information in the video with it still being quite short and you dont fall into the trap of most "5 min guides" you see on probuilds or something where they waste half the time with the build and other half with the runes while giving information that either everybody above gold already knows or that is highly meta dependend and becomes outdated 3 patches later.

I agree with everything but the main Mythic, Chemtank is underwhelming and not usually necessary so I think it's between Sunfire and Frostfire, Sunfire if they are running into you or really extended brawls, or frostfire into anything you wanna get on top of and stick to, I like frostfire a lot of the time and the 100 bonus hp from the mythic passive feels very nice and scales with the rest of your kit, sunfire damage is good too though I've been having a ton of fun with him!
is sunfire aegis better with Conqueror though? for constant heal if 2-3 ppl all in you?
I played mundo with Divine Sunderer, but E maxing, hits like a truck!

You can also go Bami's into Anathema's Chains and then follow up with boots and either bramble vest into warmog's (heavy heal enemies), visage (AP heavy enemies) or just warmog's straight away. You can get away with delaying epic until laning phase is over this way, and the build will scale your health like crazy.
played him a little bit, found him quite fun walking people down with conq on levels 1-3 haha, scaling feels pretty horrible tho
He only scales with max health, so that's why I recommend sticking with Bami's cinder until the end of laning phase and instead go Bami's into Anathema's chains, upgrade your free boots and then warmog's. Your armor and MR will be ass, BUT Anathema's chains gives you a stacking damage reduction bonus against the enemy top that goes up to 30%, and you will be sitting on 1.7k bonus health for comparatively little gold (ok, Warmog's is disgustingly expensive but you are playing a champion that literally only scales off health, so it's best in slot.)
QOTD: I have played around 10 games of new Mundo and i think he is a very good blind pick or vs range and also is very strong when he is ahead but when he is behind he feels awful. In most of the games i got fed and was winning 3v1s but there was one game where i don't know if it was because they had a fed vayne mid,senna with kraken and a gwen with riftmaker but they just oneshot me in seconds.(since it was my only game where i was behind i can't tell if its because the enemy had alot of true damage or because the champ is useless when behind)
Can you name one champ in this entire game who can(or even should) tank a vayne, gwen and senna all at once while they are fed and you are behind? It would actually bother me if a champ could do that. Vayne and gwen both do %health true damage, and true damage on kraken and rift is(and should be) really opressive when the enemy is behind. I think Mundo is in an AMAZING spot atm, he does great into a bunch of champs, and there ''should be'' NO champ that does well into literally everything. Every champ has weaknesses and counters, and to be fair I have always cried when they lock in a Vayne when I play Mundo, she can be 0/10 and you be 10/0 and her %health true damage will still melt you at all stages of the game.

@@thugvader840 I think that has always been how it plays out Vayne vrs Mundo. Same thing happens against a Kog'maw, they are literally designed to shred tanks. There is no good answer or counter, you simply do not pick Mundo into vayne or kogmaw. I personally think Mundo is super good into 90% of the champs in the game, just has a few hard matchups.
@@thugvader840 Anathema's chains. When in lane you can set it to enemy top and get 30% DR, when transitioning you can just pick the eenmy mid as your nemesis and 60 secs later you have 30% against them as well, plus any defenses you build on top.

new mundo is significantly weaker than he was in season 10 but im not sure if this is because of the rework or the new mythic items added. i think its a combination of both.
Honestly Mundo feels better with max E into titanic, you'll have around 170 scaling ad and can wave clear with 1-2 hits into 1 E.
Anathema's chains also works amazingly good on him, it's his cheapest defense option and gives him a ton of health.
Revitalize is actually 10 times superior to overgrowth or am I wrong? You've got retty much healing on most of your spells
Revitalize is better for W healing, Overgrowth is better for R healing and Grasp damage since both scale with max hp
Revitalize doesn't with regen sadly. So things like Mundo passive and second wind are not affected by it. The health from overgrowth increases all his regen and ult healing, plus increases the bonus health you build from items and grasp stacks and also the damage on E. I personally don't even think the 2 runes compare on Mundo with overgrowth being the best choice 100% of the time. Just my opinion though!
im playing ranked in silver. In my experiece as mundo the worst matchup is Seth or Garen.

It’s been a thing. WW lvl 1 and early game is crazy bc of his passive and Q. Along with his E tanking lots of damage and having great lane sustain his only problem becomes mana so he can’t just spam q the wave. + he builds sunderer and that’s strong as balls rn
What counters Mundo?
This is the only champ i can play when its 31 degrees

@@wickdlol i know im replying really late but cold showers actually make you feel even hotter. Your body feels the cold and tries to heat you up. When you get out og the shower your body is still trying to heat itself up and you get even hotter. If im wrong please correct me

What is your thought on Frostfire? It has been the item I have been running on Mundo because it scales health with the passive. I always liked the AOE slow too, is it still optimal to build it or should it be overlooked by the other tank mythics?
I played Mundo and got destroyed by an Akali, I stopped playing Mundo 😂😂😂
Akali does that to most champions though.

You press the button once, Mundo gets a magic resistance steroid and starts dealing (tiny) amounts of damage to everything around him (to weaken minions, mostly) but he also saves a percentage of all damage he takes from any source during this time.
You press the button again while he's still getting zapped and he creates a burst of electricity that damages everything around him for a percentage of the damage that he took while the zappy field was up, and then heals for a percentage of that damage if he hits any enemy champions with that blast.
That's how simple it is.

I don't see the reason to run Conqueror since Grasp fits his playstyle perfectly.

@@jmj2638 its very straight forward. During lane if you want to poke with your E, kill an enemy minion with it while facing their direction. If youre just autoing something quickly just do ur full combo

Honestly if you want climb DON'T play Mundo. His stats and W currently are pretty bad.

I have 27 games and 63% win ratio on Mundo on my main account.

For me he is pretty bad.
- His W in laning phase doesn't do much and his dmg from E is pretty pathetic.
- Also since everybody have easy acces to anti-heal and since Ignite is a thing ,his tankiness (Big healing) can be completly stopped.
Oh that's interesting. I actually have felt that his E is amazing due to the fact that you can easily hit people by shoving minions in their face.
I've managed to dominate most of my lanes against high elo players.
