Joey Pepper is an acquired taste.. I know from experience. I watched this video every single day for a summer and the Welsh influence was as great as Drehobls.. SOMEHOW while watching this part maybe 100 times I didnt register Joeys cameo which is actually reeeheeheeeally good footage.. Its weird how kids can't register class, but the Welsh is timeless and ageless.. dunno if this sounds like a Joey Pepper diss but this part is such a stand-alone.. Joey should have gotten a part in these when they really influenced people.. like immediately after this one. Welsh is literally top 100 all-time. holy fudge

Yeah man I definitely agree with you. Rob Welsh along with Stevie Williams and Brian Wenning genuinely have unique styles to them they can't be matched. Sad to say Joey peppers style is nothing great or memorable. Some are born with it some aren't.

I suppose that's relative to the skater. Personally, I ride wide boards because I like the stability and heaviness of it. It forces me to pop harder, thus making my legs stronger. They are harder to flip, no doubt, but that's just a downside that I'm willing to live with compared to the upsides that outweigh the former. I used to ride skinny boards, but I just didn't feel good on them, so I switched to wider and just started to progress much faster . As to looking lame, that's purely subjective. Reynolds rides a 8.5 and doesn't look lame at all. I would say that would fall under the particular persons style, then still it is all purely subjective. At the end you ride what you like, for whatever reasons. Just skate and have fun doing it. That's my opinion.
