I am a Sheff Utd fan 49 years born and bred and I agree a lot with Simon Jordan, but not on his view about our arch rivals Sheff Wed, they have a bad history they don't act like a proper football club, they have a current owner that thinks the fans should put there hands in there pockets in terms of investment as he refuses too anymore. We are remember the days of Wednesday players taking bungs years ago, its s**t that sticks, and given its harrowing history Hillsborough should be condemned and used a memorial, by all means build a new stadium but no one wants Wednesday in top flight football ever again!. I have been to many a derby and to have Wednesday fans on the top tier pis**ng on the Blades fans below throwing bottles and hitting kids who are there to watch the Blades that tells you everything about Sheff Wed.

I think your letting rivalries put blinkers on you there. I support Liverpool but obviously sheff wed are bigger than salford. Id put them as a bigger club that you to be honest as i remember them doing very well in the prem with a decent side
